All virtue signalling. The POS is too power hungry and greedy and has no shame to ever resign. See even Brian Mulroney resigned.

I don't remember why Mulroney resigned.
Is it hush money by Airbus?
Anyway, Mulroney did much better on National and International accomplishments than Trudeau and his Father !

Many things but the main was the very unpopular GST. He was hated for that, eventually he resigned. Campbell took over and on the next election the Progressive Conservatives only got two seats. I see the same faith for Trudeau. The Liberal brand is being destroyed. Main sticking point is the carbon tax.

Well said! There are many similarities between the PC collapse under Brian Mulroney and the impending Liberal collapse under Justin Trudeau.

Ironically, as you correctly pointed out it was the despised GST Tax that was the main reason and that tax is still being paid by Canadian taxpayers.

On the other hand, the Liberal Carbon tax is unlikely to be around after their demise as a party as it serves no real purpose, the GST replaced the old manufacturers tax on goods and services.

Unlike Trudeau, Mulroney could travel anywhere in the world and be warmly welcomed as Canada's PM. I can count on one hand the countries that Justin Trudeau is unliked in, they include both China and India two of the largest countries and economies in the world. That is beyond bad.

Correct. Mulroney did some good things, he fought against apertheid and tried to pass the Meech Lake Accord. I am certain if the accord passed there would have never been a referendum in Quebec. Mulroney was a great statesman. He fought against South Africa's apartheid. Trudeau on the other hand has zero ethics and is corrupt to the max.

Yesterday on CBC french radio, trudeau told he thinks everyday about quitting his job !
I tell him : what are you waiting ?

Read a recent article about Trudeau's thought on resigning. He said he thought about it but he would not be a man if he quit and " thinks " that Canadians will thank him in the future for his work on climate change and alphabet rights. The guy is delusional.

Yes, such a narcissist. As such, he thinks Canadians are ungrateful and ignorant, and he needs to continue his mission . In many countries people are alarmed if the president is re elected after 4 or 5 years. Here this guy has been in power for 9 years ! and he still wants more.

The problem is the Canadian system has no safeguards in place for far-left lunatics to remain in power using underhanded corrupt means. In the US a president can only run two terms. Then there is the Socialist coup formed by the NDP and Liberals, such things should be banned. Trudeau got a false majority.

On April 1st, the carbon tax is going up and Justin Castro will be getting a big $10,200 pay raise while we get a 23% increase in carbon tax. How many of you are receiving a ten grand pay raise this year?? We are the April's fools especially the ones that believe the carbon tax is really to slow down climate change.

For the carbon tax, they tax the tax also.

This year alone, the GST on Canada's Carbon Tax will cost taxpayers $486 million. Over the next eight years, the number reaches $6 billion. “So a total of $6.23 billion, Canadian taxpayers will pay in GST on the carbon tax alone,” said Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MP Alex Ruff.Feb 15, 2024

That is why Justin Castro has so much money to give away to asylum seekers. He made it so easy for them to enter and all are being housed in free hotels and are being given monthly paychecks. Quebec asked for $1 billion from the Federal government for all those asylum seekers, that is how much it is costing taxpayers. Makes no sense.

Problems caused by Justin Castro's out of control immigration. Now you see why rents and the price of houses are so high. This is why we got a housing crisis and why food costs are so high. Common in Brampton and other Ontario cities is illegal student boarding houses. Bungalows built in the 60s were designed for single families, but now they got 12 to 15 people renting it out. Trudeau wants to curb pollution with his carbon tax but on the other hand is increasing pollution with excessive immigration. It is kind of like filling gas in a gas tank but you got a hole in it, gas tank never gets full because it keeps on leaking. Same principal. That is why I say the carbon tax is a big scam. What this does is generates the government lots of money. Trudeau is giving gifts with their own money.

Is there a list of countries over taxing their citizens so they can send money to Canada?
Trudeau needs to stop raising taxes and international spending.

It is weird that Trudeau does this. Why bring in so many asylum seekers? Why send so much taxpayers money to foreign countries? What does he get out of this madness? Btw since we had rapid population increase and so many asylum seekers, we got a lot more crimes things I did not see often 20 years ago.

Trudeau plans to delay the 2025 election a week, this makes it possible for some MPs to get a larger pension.
One of the proposed changes, which falls outside the scope of that agreement, would have the next fixed election date moved one week later to Oct. 27, because the original date coincides with Diwali, a holiday celebrated by a number of religious communities.

But a rather remarkable perk would accompany such a change: bumping the date by a few days means dozens of MPs would be entitled to the generous pension members of Parliament received if they serve in the House of Commons for at least six years.

“I think Canadians are … just going to ask the obvious question: ‘Why do we have to bump it a week back and not a week early?’" said Franco Terrazzano, the federal director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.

"And if the response from the government or members of Parliament is, ‘Well, that's how the law or the rules are currently implemented,’ well, change the law or the rules.”

And not just home and apartments. Also healthcare. Many got no family doctor, rapid population will worsen the doctor wait issue.
