According to Magali Barbieri, author of the report, life expectancy at birth in the United States has stopped increasing since 2010. Since 2014, it has even decreased for men. Americans men live an average of 75 years, and Americans women 81 years.
As a reminder, the average life expectancy of inhabitants of OECD countries is 78 years for men and 83 years for women. "The gap between the United States and Japan, the best-positioned OECD country, is 6 years," we read. By comparison, Americans live on average 3 to 4 years less than the French.

I can't believe that Trump or the federal government gave money to that damn Moderna to produce a life saving vaccine. It's unbelievable that anyone would want to save so many lives from this deadly disease. Damn the federal government for getting it right for change.
