Dr. Anthony Fauci, one of the top U.S. infectious disease experts during the COVID-19 pandemic, said on Thursday that he has not been advising president-elect Joe Biden or had contact with his coronavirus transition team and said he sees no reason to quit to join that effort.

Fauci stressed he’s not a politician and does "public health things," and stressed there was "absolutely no reason and no sense at all for me to stop doing something in the middle of a pandemic that is playing a major role in helping us get out of the pandemic."

We need a transition as quickly as possible.
Now Trump is not passing any information about the pandemic to Biden.

How silly. He didn't want the public to wear masks in the early days since needed by the hospital Docs and nurses. There is no debate masks, and distancing are the only defense that works very well when done by all, like in much of Asia. This is our only defense until 2021-22, when we have enough folks vaccinated. Fauci has the most expertise with decades of experience with similar viruses. I can't believe that Trump or the federal government gave money to that damn Moderna to produce a life saving vaccine. It's unbelievable that anyone would want to save so many lives from this deadly disease. Damn the federal government for getting it right for change.
