I seem to recall the tradeau “black face” fiasco front and center in the world press. I think it’s the opposite, if Trump held a news conference and showed up in black face instead of bronze face it would be totally different. Let’s say smokin joe held a news conference and showed up black face and was like “this is my way of showing thanks”. The mainstream media would be like “ well, they were right, he has lost it. If Trump showed up in black face, media would def go bat shit. But then you would start seeing Ron Desantis, the S D governor, pence, the crazy Q-Anon chic starting to wear black face all the time. So the whole trump gets a bad rap is bullshit, he gets the best deal. No one else can say and do what he says and does and get 70 million people to vote for him. And sad to say, SOME vote for him because they secretly would openly like to say and do what he gets too..

People bash BoJo all the time.
As for LeGault, I am amazed he hasn't gotten more shit than he has.
He did ok early on. The initial spike was really just bad luck because we have spring break a week earlier and there was a flood of people who came back from the States with infections.
But he looked like he was trying earlier. You could see him wanting to just go the "open the economy don't worry" route and then reeling it back because the scientists were sounding the alarm.
Then at some point his business-man roots took over and he has just constantly hedged and tried to thread the needle with weird bullshit controls that are mostly theatre.
It hasn't been good and its gotten worse and he deserves more shit than he gets.
For starters how about closing borders to all travellers from China for the next 5 years, some severe sanctions and a boycott on Chinese goods for a number of years.
