Officially defined in the Patriot Act
Sure! but trump (doesn't deserve a capital T), never read anything but papers about him as he is a fail ignorant and never recognized domestic terrorism even if Obama and all the US secret services briefed him in 2016 that "domestic terrorism" was the biggest threat toward the country's safety. To the contrary he courted Qanon, the proud boys (what a stupid, silly, name) and all the right-extremists. He gave the Freedom Medal to Rush Limbaugh, it says it all. He should finish is life between the walls he deserves. If he had any courage he would commit suicide as Hitler did but he was, is and forever will be a coward.

Right wing media, even FOX, I consider a moderate one, never talked about "domestic terrorism" because it serves their interest.

Just pointing out that it was defined longer than 4 years ago. Which you don’t address. Your Trump comments have nothing to do with my post, and Trump had nothing to do with my post. So I. Not sure what your talking about. And to follow up on the definition of domestic terrorism, the term actually goes back further than 2001.

America's most senior general Mark Milley and the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff, which is comprised of the heads of each military branch, issued a statement Wednesday condemning the violent invasion of the US Capitol last week and reminding service members of their obligation to support and defend the Constitution and reject extremism.

"We witnessed actions inside the Capitol building that were inconsistent with the rule of law. The rights of freedom of speech and assembly do not give anyone the right to resort to violence, sedition and insurrection," they wrote in the statement.

The statement is considered a significant step because the chiefs seek wherever possible to avoid taking stances that may have political overtones. But given what has happened, the chiefs felt it was important to make a statement given the gravity of events surrounding the inauguration.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has indicated that he believes that impeaching President Donald Trump will make it easier to get rid of the President and Trumpism from the Republican Party, according to a source with knowledge of the matter.

Another person with direct knowledge told CNN there's a reason McConnell has been silent on impeachment as other Republicans have pushed back: he's furious about last week's attack on the US Capitol by the President's supporters, even more so that Trump has shown no contrition. His silence has been deliberate as he leaves open the option of supporting impeachment.

Trump never talks about the coronavirus. You have to be a robot, or Donald Trump, to pretend it isn't.

The US House of Representatives is expected to hold a vote to impeach President Donald Trump over his role in last week's storming of Congress.

Democrats accuse the president of encouraging his supporters to attack the Capitol building. Five people died.

Members of Mr Trump's Republican party say they will join Democrats to impeach him on Wednesday, formally charging the president with inciting insurrection.

President Trump has rejected any responsibility for the violence.

The riot last Wednesday happened after Mr Trump told supporters at a rally in Washington DC to "fight like hell" against the result of November's election.

The impeachment is not enough.

Fully agree.....in the SENATE at least 17 SENS -REPUBS would have to vote in favor...that's a lot...BUT if MITCH goes that way...vu son ascendance--autorité...tout devient possible.

And the good thing is-----if Congress impeachs TROMP--- :) ....there will b another vote ---à la simple majorité cette fois---pour lui enlever TOUS SES PRIVILÈGES de Président......that would b so great...in your face big stupid dummy.

Put another way....that`s equivalent to 20 to 25 jumbo jets crashing every day. More deaths than all other causes combined. Do some still think that it`s just a bad cold ?
