More for Trump Crime Family.
CNN reported on Tuesday that thousands of armed pro-Donald Trump extremists are plotting to surround the US Capitol ahead of Biden's inauguration, according to a member of Congress who was among those briefed late Monday.
But the Secret Service is prepared to secure the inauguration, the Department of Homeland Security's second-in-command Ken Cuccinelli told CNN, while acknowledging there are always "problem players" that show up.

The impeachment is not enough.
I agree 100%. Not only one or two impeachments is not enough, it is outright pathetic. If they can easily put together an impeachment in a couple of days, like they are doing now, what the fuck have they been doing over the last four years? They should have had one impeachment a month, at the very minimum. We would have had 47 impeachments in the books by now and the current one would (and should!) have been # 48.

And that leisurely pace would have allowed our representatives in Congress plenty of time for minding everyday people's business as well, like taking vacations or fucking Chinese spies.

Who made him write that?
It's obvious he was reading something he doesn't believe a word. When one is sincere, no telescriptor is needed. There was no such machine when he call for the march on the Capitol, his riot call.

A poster above attempted (unsuccessfully) to inject some humor by mentioning that there should have been 47 or 48 Trump impeachments by now.

As the saying goes, many a truth is spoken in jest,' and the poster's attempted joke illustrates this. Had Trump been impeached for all his numerous transgressions over the four corrupt, dangerous and disastrous years of his train wreck of a presidency, the number would have been higher than 47 or 48.

In reality, however, he really should have been impeached just once - because following that first impeachment he should have been removed from office. He was not - because the spineless, self-serving Republicans failed in their duty to the American people and allowed the lying, incompetent fool of a president to stay in office and continue to wreak havoc on his country. Had the Republicans done the right thing by choosing to eject the narcissistic bozo, there would likely be many more American citizens still ALIVE.

It's hard to imagine that anyone - even an ineffectual cipher like Mike Pence - could have botched the coronavirus handling worse than President Liar did. That incompetence alone was likely responsible for a huge amount of Covid suffering ("hoax" statements, downplaying the seriousness, lying about facts, suggesting treatments of hydroxychloroquine and bleach, propagandizing against masks - what an idiot!). Add to that the rightwing violence, treason and deaths inspired by Trump's attempts to steal an election.

If the orange-makeup-loving jerk had been booted out a year ago, America would not now be in such a dark place. The blame falls on the spineless Republicans.

So, in six short days, Donald Trump will leave the White House and for many of our TDS-afflicted friends and neighbors an excruciating withdrawal process will undoubtedly kick in. I was thinking if we could do anything to alleviate their suffering. Any ideas will be appreciated. Maybe a small but meaningful gift would help a little. Something along these lines perhaps:

So trump could claim there were more people at his own inauguration than at Biden-Harris' one.
But he could never argue against that there were much more people for Obama-Biden inauguration. A record crowd.

The general theme amongst a handful of posters is that covid has spread, disproportionately worse, in the US under Trump's leadership than in any other part of the world. I get the impression from these posters that Trump has influenced a massive population of uneducated, gun-toting, redneck republican trash into ignoring basic and intuitive covid protocols and therefore, propagating the spread of this virus and the subsequent deaths.

My observation has been different. Mind you, I don't have an opportunity to interact with group of people described above, but I do speak to so many people in the US who are bankers, lawyers, engineers and a wide variety of vocations typically associated with intelligence. It's incredible how many of them travel, go out to restaurants, have actually been infected (and don't seem overly concerned when they are) and generally continue to live out their lives.

I'm not saying it's okay, just saying that contrary to what the media is presenting, that this doesn't seem to be a problem unique to an uneducated and ignorant demographic who hangs on Trumps every word and recommendation.

Now, please return to your Trump bashing as I understand it is much easier and digestible to lay this covid disaster soley at Trump's feet.
