Rick Reilly, author of an essay on what golf teaches us about Donald Trump. The title of the book: The Chief Cheater (Commander in Cheat). Yes, the president is dishonest, even in golf! He cheats enormously.
Even when Tiger Woods watches him.

It’s worse than you think. He not only moves his ball. He even declared himself the winner of a tournament in which he did not participate.

He also doesn't care about etiquette - he's driving a cart on the greens, the equivalent of riding a Hummer at the museum.

Donald Trump's golf games have cost American taxpayers more in just three years than the Obama family's trips in eight years in office.

How can you trust a cheating guy?

Haha Sene Golf is the ultimate test to separate ass holes from great human being.

If you are willing to cheat on an activity that is not important... That has no fucking relation to your main business/activity/personal life... Can you imagine how willing such a person is willing to break the rules, cheat, destroy everything when things really matters!!!

I have been playing golf for 35 years. But only 10-12 games per year. I rarely play under 100. You will say I suck big time at golf. I will say you are correct. But I will also say I count every shot and count by the book and when I defy friends to play with me but I count the score all of a sudden that regular 85-90 player scored 105 or 110 haha

Golf makes me laugh so much because as much as I enjoyed the game it makes me realize how human are so fucking liars...

Trump is encouraging Republicans in states ruled by democrats, not to listen to the governor, who doesn't want people from his state, to return to the workforce.

Trump doesn't give a damn about the health of these fellow citizens, all he wants no matter how bad people are, is to be re-elected.

In short, it encourages civil disobedience.

This man thinks only of himself.

He should be keeping politics out of the crisis but maybe you are being too harsh on Trump
The stimulus checks are being sent out to all those in need without any DELAYS and guess who’s name will be on them , so he’s very concerned and does care after all
When is the last time an American president had his name on some Relief checks ?? Exactly ... I rest my case

Yes, the president is dishonest, even in golf! He cheats enormously.

I’ve been playing golf and have been in the real estate biz for over 20 years.

My golf handicap has been as low as a 13 when I played regularly and up to a 25 handicap when I haven’t played that much. That means my score has been anywhere between an 80-110 in a given round of golf. You can learn a lot about a person playing golf with them. I would estimate that 20-30 percent of golfers actually play by the rules. Meaning I estimate that over 70 percent of people playing the gentleman’s game of golf are not accurately keeping score and are therefore cheating. Most of these people simply don’t understand the rules and make them up as they go along. But, if we aren’t playing a match or for money I could care less about how you score your game. Your only cheating yourself.

The real estate world and more specifically the commercial real estate world has some of the sleaziest people I’ve ever met IMHO. Bribes, shakedowns, non professional business practices, etc.

The president is a golfer and was in the commercial real estate business. The fact that he is dishonest in golf and cheating shouldn’t surprise anybody. He’s not a polished politician with a stellar record. He is what he is.

I haven't met you and so won't even pretend to care about you, but I would be happy to print my name in the memo field of your paycheck. The money is not coming out of my pocket.

The stimulus package was written and passed by Congress. The money comes from the US treasury, not Donald Trump. Besides delaying receipt of the checks, the only apparent effect of ordering his name to appear on the check was to fool stupid people into associating the payments with him.

My good sir anon_vlad I was going for sarcasm , I was mocking him
Yes this was not his doing but Congress , and no this money ain’t coming out of his personal checking account
Never heard of previous presidents trying to get their names on stimulus checks , even worse delaying them so as to achieve that
Most politicians are vain and egocentric to begin with and president Donald Trump takes it to another level ... It seems that he’s already campaigning and thinking about November

He is what he is.

I also played golf for about 30 years, I played with friends, with club members, strangers and in tournaments. Yes there are players who do not count all their shots (never saw players moves balls like Trump did) but I would not say that it would be more around 30-40%. Anyway this is not the purpose of my comment.

Having said that, it's too easy to say that Trump is what he is, so that gives him all the rights? NO, he is the President of the United States, he should lead by example, and not show us all these vices.
Besides, since he is here, I would say that we should call your country, the Disunited States.
One point where we agree is that Trump is a rude politician.

Yesterday I read his speech and he multiplied the attacks and the insults on: China, the world health organization, the Gov. Cuomo, the Democrats, Mrs. Pelosi, Mr. Biden and even Barack Obama. And the most serious, it sowed discord between the citizens and their governor.
It is a very bad attitude in times of crisis.

Why does he spit like that? He wants to prove to the American people that he is the man to vote for in November.
Here with such an attitude he would probably have around 20% of votes.
Poor Americans !!

I read yesterday that 16% of Canadians support Trump.
I can't understand that. Those are probably some kind of White Suprematist or uneducated Fox TV watchers.

Interesting indeed.

Have you look at Ontario's Doug Ford. He won a campaign à la Trump. He was arrogant, bully and a I am the only one that can fix it as I am god.

Well since the pendemic he took a complete different approach. He shows symphaty, humility and respect. Complete turnaround. He is very present and a bit like Legault here in Quebec has shown great leadership. Results? He would have now won counties that did not vote for him at last election!

I already talked about it, but I find what Trump said (I have no more words to say how I find it pathetic).

Trump is asking the states Michigan, Virginia, Minnesota, (the Democratic states) to remove their confinement. As these states don't want to, he asks the citizens not to listen to their governor and to be deconfine.

Imagine the President of the United States inciting civil disobedience.

Wake me up, I'm having a nightmare.

The American people who elected him understood that "he is what he is". Yes, he is the POTUS, and saying he should lead by example is fair, but your crazy if you actually thought that was what was going to happen when he got into the White House. A leopard cannot change its spots.

The USA has very much united during this outbreak. Calling the USA disunited is foolish, just look at how all the governors are united in getting the country back up and running.

Once again, a leopard cannot change its spots. He is what he is. It's pretty obvious.

I don't agree. Democrat state will unite and stay on the safe side on re-opening. Republican state will unite and try to "open the economy".

It has divided as it's never been. Exactly like king Trumpet wants. Remember Trump has absolutely no humanity. He does not care about other people dying. He could not care less.

Walooo you are wrong when you say that leaders don`t change....great ones do.
One of the most ruthless and bloodthirsty rulers of India changed almost overnight and became a great compassionate ruler doing great deeds for his people and the cause of protecting nature..
I don`t expect that type of wisdom or compassion from Trump though.

I don't believe I said that leaders don't change, but I would have no problem saying that Trump will not.

if he wins re election hopefully dems will win control of both houses. Trump willdef do something impeachable again, it’s just a matter of time
