I think it means that Israel should be on high alert in the upcoming weeks...that goes for Jared Kushner too from what i hear.
Also, I have a feeling that Iran will wait to see who will be the Democratic nominee first, before planning their revenge.
They might want to hurt Trump reelection chances in November, the same way they affected Carter's bid during the hostage crisis in 1979.

I doubt that the ayatollah is suicidal. And in any case, at age 80 it seems a little too late to dream of 72 virgins, doesn't it? So perhaps he will think twice before taunting Trump again.

I think they will try to pick a few soft targets here and there. Attack some American tourists somewhere. Maybe an office of an American company (Google and such) or a trade mission. And of course they will do it by someone else's hands, like Hezbollah. Assuming they (Hezbollah) would be willing to take orders from the Soleimani's successor. Which is not that obvious, by the way.

About the Trump lead attack.

To many Iranian dissidents and freedom fighters around the world, it was cause for major celebration. Indeed, Iranians and Iraqis were dancing on the streets and celebrating this major blow to the Iranian regime.

Even within Iran itself they have many many who are actually celebrating. Anyone who works in technology has come across an Iranian one way or another. They are usually great productive employee. What you see on TV is not representative of the population of Iran who in vast majority only wants to live freely like us. Hopefully one day they will be able to get together and revolt against their crazy leaders. What people should realize is that their leaders in Iran have achieve what a guy like Trump would like to achieve in the US...

Americans have never looked favourably on Iran for decades for good reason so it is smart for Trump to maintain and escalate the conflict during an election year.

Yes, but only if the ayatollah decides it is time to go meet the virgins. If not, Trump will be quite comfortable resuming his peace-loving foreign policy. In any case, it does not make sense, in my opinion, to derive any predictions from his tweets.

By the way, are there any Islam experts around? Is this "72 virgins" meme a purely Sunni thing or do Shiites aspire to something similar as well? Anyone knows? Important strategic decisions may hinge on that.
