Former President Donald Trump will find out whether he gets to return to Facebook on Wednesday, when the social network’s quasi-independent Oversight Board plans to announce its ruling in the high-profile case.

The decision likely to stir up strong feelings no matter which way it goes. If the board rules in Trump’s favor, Facebook has seven days to reinstate his account. If it upholds Facebook’s decision, Trump will remain “indefinitely suspended.” That means he’ll remain banned from the platform for as long as Facebook sees fit.

Facebook has just given its decision: Trump will remain “indefinitely suspended.” That means he’ll remain banned from the platform for as long as Facebook sees fit.
Amen

Look behind you.
Facebook oversight board, bunch of fucked up woke people. I was discussing immigration with someone and posted that " some " immigrants are freeloaders and within 2 minutes a 7 day ban. Yeah, quite the oversight board and FB policies.

CNN's Jamie Gangel reports that House minority leader Kevin McCarthy does not want to testify under oath about his conversation with former President Trump concerning the Capitol insurrection.

Because McCarthy would have to tell the truth and he doesn't know how, since he threw out that manual years ago.

Of course republicans are afraid of testifying, my guess is because they lie so much it’s hard to keep all the lies straight.

Lies, lies and lies

Donald Trump has launched a new "social media" app to let his followers know what he thinks about things, but it's really just a weird combination of Twitter and Blogspot meant to give his followers things to tweet out on his behalf. The new site is absolutely pathetic, and people on real social media outlets are having a field day mocking and ridiculing this ridiculous attempt by Trump to stay relevant.

Narcissists need narcissistic supply like humans need oxygen to live. Also a narcissist's worst nightmare is being irrelevant.
I think it's hilarious, he's been robbed of the very thing he craves.

He can't tweet, he can't post on social media and it's killing him. The only platform he has now is Mar A Lago.
And even that's drying up. Being ignored is a fate worse than death.

He's miserable and pretty soon he's going to have to face all those lawsuits.

A Twitter account called DJTDesk has been suspended by the platform for acting as a "shadow account" for former President Donald Trump.
The account was tweeting out statements from the former president, making it seem as if it were Trump running the account.
While no one from the former administration has taken credit for the account, it certainly looked like something they would do.

He feels so out of place, now he became desperate and stupid enough to get back on Twitter.

A condo complex in South Florida has decided to remove Trump's name from the building after all the residents agreed that it was bad for the condos.
Real estate brokers had admitted that having Trump's name on the building - because it is a Trump-owned property - had actually turned away plenty of perspective buyers, and the condo board decided that it was time to remove Trump's branding from their homes.

I guess it's devastating for Trump. The only thing he lives for is seeing his name on things.

Following the idiot convention with Matt Gaetz and Majorie Taylor Greene this past weekend, CNN reached out to interview some people who attended the event.
Several of them spoke on camera, and they proved that they are among the dumbest political supporters in the country.
They couldn't do anything except spout debunked conspiracies, and their only justification for their beliefs was "I saw it on TV."

Who wants to bet that those two lovely folks never read a book in their entire lives?

As Mark Twain said "Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience"

The portion of Americans pleased with the general direction of the country has already doubled since the departure of former President Donald Trump.

Super

Put the grifter in jail and take all his assets . use his defunct golf courses and build housing for the poor.

And the vast majority of the rest of the world agrees.

Trump made America great again... by leaving the White House.

Yes I realized that for a long time.
But since I am a bit of a utopian and I think that justice should be equal for everyone, I continue like Don Quixote, and for me my windmill is called trump.

Republican elected officials are still covering for Trump by repeating the lie that the election was stolen from him. In this latest episode of The Point, CNN’s Chris Cillizza explains why these Republicans -- who know that the election was not in fact stolen -- are continuing to go along with this, and what it says about the current affairs of the GOP.

We seem to have gone from the information age to the misinformation age in very short order. How it plays out is: the Truth wins, the Liar loses... ultimately.

It's been 6 months, and some Trump led Republicans don't recognize the result.

Trump has nothing to do, and a narcissist cannot lose, so he continues to deny defeat, until the moment or maybe one day jail will open its doors to him.

Rachel Maddow shares highlights from a speech by Rep. Liz Cheney on the House floor in which she excoriates her Trump-supporting Republican colleagues for failing to support the Constitution and the rule of law and calling democracy into question by parroting Donald Trump's lies about the 2020 election.

Without Trump they lose the base, but with Trump, they lose elections.

Donald Trump published six erratic and delusional blogs posts in a period of just two days.

I bet he’s gaslighting himself into believing he’s back on Twitter again. Sad

January 6, 21 will never be forgotten. He acts like it never happened.

More than 100 Republicans, including former Republican officials, threaten to leave the Republican Party and start a third party.

After 4 miserable years of Trump, everything is looking up this year.

I never thought I would live to see one of the two major American political parties rip itself apart because of an Orange Clown.

Chris Miller, Donald Trump's acting defense secretary for his final days in office, admitted during a hearing at the Capitol yesterday that the President wanted to use the military to protect his supporters on January 6th instead of the military protecting members of Congress. The former president is a madman, and anyone standing with him needs to understand that he will throw them under the bus at the first opportunity.

Donnie needs to go to prison for all he has done, nothing less will deter the next madman.

Cowardice is a cornerstone of trumpism.

The other cornerstones being Corruption, Hypocrisy and Fascism.

Trump will be an historical embarrassment to our nation for generations.
