If you want to know if your SP is vaccinated, ask her to join you for dinner or drinks. Gotta love the passport.

Most are quite happy to share this information with you and is one of the first things they mention on their web sight or Twitter. Drinks and dinner in a bar or restaurant will soon only be for the ones with a passport, which is fine by me.
My ATF was already fully vaccinated in April.

Yes I am surprised because all SP who have a website mention that they are vaccinated.

Read again, i said against the measure and/or vaccinal passeport, not against the vaccine itself. There is plenty of peoples who did get vaccinated but are against the vaccinal passeport and its intrusive controlling side. Also, some peoples i know, be it SPs, friends or whatever, they got the vaccinate cause they were tired of the circus going on and everytime the % rise they hope the gov will stop harrassing us. One of my friend litteraly said "j'ai été le chercher juste pour leur farmer a yeule" (ill let you translate it)

Probably that most SPs will have to use it (the passeport) because they are young and like to party, does not mean they are "for it" tough.

First like i said above, not everyone who did got vaccinated is for vaccinal passport. Secondly i think this require more than a 51% majority. We are talking communist China measure here. Whats next? Our civilian rate? Its a thing that exist in China...

You have zero idea what it is like to live under communism so please do not try to compare anything in Canada to that.
You had no qualms about telling old people to stay the fuck home when this whole covid started so that the young can enjoy life to the fullest.
I have no problem to say stay the fuck out of restaurants bars and everywhere else non essential for anyone who refuses to get a vaccine passport.
The difference is old people couldn’t help the fact they were old, everyone however is able to get a vaccine passport.

If you want to be truly safe, I’d say you need to also ask her for a recent negative covid test and provide one yourself. Fully vaccinated foreign nationals will be allowed to enter Canada for discretionary travel on the following dates if they meet specific criteria:

• August 9: American citizens and permanent residents of the United States, currently residing in and arriving from the United States, and who qualify for the fully vaccinated traveller exemption
• September 7 (intended start date): All other foreign nationals who qualify for the fully vaccinated traveller exemption

Travellers are no longer required to book a 3-night hotel stopover when entering Canada.

Had dinner last night in NYC where the new vaccine passport law went into effect on Tuesday. Places were pretty empty. I guess all the millennials stayed home to create their fake vaccine passports. Which brings me to the reality of all this. Are we really protecting people? Anybody can photoshop a picture of someone else vaccination card and use it to get into bars. Do you really think the unvaccinated are all staying home now because of the new laws? Looks like small business owners are the ones getting hosed once again.

The system in Quebec is pretty hard to fool. Photoshop will not cut it

Maybe it’s not so much the system but the people using it. The door girl at the bar I went to didnt seem like a highly trained vaccine passport checker. I’m curious, how do they do it in Quebec?

The government provides a phone app that the restaurant can load from Apple/Google.
The restaurant uses the app on one of their phones to scan your passport (electronic or paper).

The app verifies the passport, and put a green "OK" check and displays your name. The restaurant checks the name against another piece of ID. It's pretty simple

I did a very superficial look at excelsior and it seems quite similar

It takes the less time than the current getting the person's name, phone number...
It's the equivalent of checking everyone's ID for age + 15 seconds. People are overblowing this part.

For a 2,000 person Festival des montgolfieres, yes. For a restaurant, no big deal.
