POTUS cannot unilaterally pass a bill into law. The bill must be written in either the Senate or the House and each branch can change and must agree to the final language. It must be approved by a simple majority in the House, and, with a few rare exceptions, by a supermajority of 60 votes in the Senate.
The world has always been on fire. The US was on fire under trump because we had an arsonist in the White House.

Exactly, Being in power right now Biden/Harris what are they waiting for to closed the borders, if they were so brilliant. The country is getting worst day after day with all those illegal immigrants, harrasing and hurting the americain population, breaking restaurants and commerces, chasing and eating seagulls and people pets. The Dems tried to pass legislation to crack down on migration and reduce border crossings. Guess who prevented it from passing? The Conservatives. Why would they do that? Because the hatred of immigrants is one of the core principles of their platform. They need it to remain a problem, otherwise they couldn't scream about it during debates and make shit up that only idiots would fall for, such as all this BS about Haitians eating people's pets. You should try looking beyond Trump speeches, FOX news and twitter for your news.

That would be uninformed sillyness. Biden had nothing to do with the high inflation that was global and based on supply demand. The Fed, like many other countries, has successfully brought it down to near the 2% target. Gas prices are based on global futures markets based on WTI in North American and Brent in Europe etc. In the US we have record amounts of oil and gas production one of the leaders in the world, plenty of leases available on private lands and no excess refining capacity for much more oil and gas.
No President can lower gas/food prices, and price controls long ago were a total failure. Like it or not, we are a Capitalist country, free enterprise with prices based on supply vs. demand, a very basic economic concept.
No ,not everyone knows that. Some of us know the FACTS that the US has one of the strongest economies in the developed world in GDP, near record low unemployment etc. The Fed took drastic action to cool the too hot economy and the inflation rate has plummeted to around 3% with a slowing too hot jobs market and economy still strong but heading to more normal per-pandemic levels that it enjoyed for many years vs too strong over the last few years, under Biden.
By the way, Biden was President, not Harris, whose job was to support the President's plan, as she mostly does since the economy, other than high inflation he had nothing to do with, has been so strong. Now, inflation is down to a normal rate of about 3%.
Not to mention record corporate profits and stock values have been achieved for business.
It seems that she is taking the place of Trump's brain which is having a bunch of malfunctions this week !
In California today, he repeated his crazies stories about Haitans in Springfield.
It causes big problems and extra spending to the city.
Springfield should sue Trump personnaly and the Gop !
