Have you looked up who Christina Parks is?
On her Facebook page: Many parents assume that Tylenol (acetaminophen) is safe during pregnancy or when given to infants!
She cites a study (unrelated) that is known to have possible risks (according to recent studies, but not yet definitively proven): some research has suggested an association between frequent/prolonged use during pregnancy and an increased risk of neurodevelopmental disorders (such as ASD or ADHD) in children.
But currently, the medical profession considers it the safest compared to other painkillers like ibuprofen or aspirin, which are often not recommended.
However, health authorities (WHO, Health Canada, FDA, etc.) continue to consider acetaminophen the standard treatment, but recommend caution and responsible use.
Still in his text: This does not provide definitive proof that Tylenol causes autism, but it does offer a plausible biological mechanism, particularly in individuals carrying certain genetic variants. He suggests that parents and physicians may want to carefully consider Tylenol use during pregnancy or early infancy, test for or consider genetic risk, and support detoxification and methylation pathways
And boom!
She recommends tests that include many of these genes (MTHFR, GST, CYP2E1, and others involved in detox and methylation. She demonstrates this earlier in her text (MTHFR, GST, CYP2E1).
She provides a link to a test:
