I could care less as long as he changes things for the better and so far his transition team is doing a fantastic job bringing in bright men and women. I think most of the people who voted for him feel the same way, the "Silent Majority" (wink wink) anyways.
There seems to be an unspoken conclusion in this thread, on both sides of the debate, that Trump is right wing and conservative. Wrong! Do not look at his election campaign statements. Look at his actions his entire adult life. I guarantee you he has donated more to the Democratic Party than Passione and Doc Holliday have earned in their lives combined. He attended fundraisers with the Clintons and behind the scenes is probably in bed with them on business deals. I am adopting a wait and see approach on Trump, because I believe all of you are totally wrong on him and that he will prove to be moderate and pragmatic, outraging the more right wing detractors but also disappointing the left wing detractors who are startled and confused by the pragmatism and liberalism of some of his policies. I suspect there will be profound confusion and surprise at his positions. Do not predict him as he will be unpredictable.

First of all, I would guess that most CEOs give to both sides. 2nd, As I said before, to me a vote for Trump was a no vote to the crooked Clinton stealing and lying Mafia. As for liberal, I myself am very liberal in fact I consider myself a libertarian. I find it ironic that the so-called liberals are not really liberal at all. They want to tell us how to think and how to live. How liberal is that?

Your post inspired me. I am ready to put down the coloring books and play-dough. And seriously, he is showing some promise on some (not all) of the Cabinet and Diplomatic appointees. Time will tell, but this was funny.

This is perfect. I would like to bring a couple of rabid pit bulls for these whining cry babies to use as therapy dogs.

I have never seen Rump as a Conservative and Conservatives I know have not either. He is an exploitative expedient egomaniac opportunist who will do what he has to to get what he wants. That fact is becoming clearer to those who put faith in him being a Nationalist/Tea Party representative and are now rapidly becoming very disappointed and angry as he backs off of campaign positions one by one that were extremely important to the extreme Right and were the reasons, besides hating Clinton, they voted for him. Dumping his campaign pledges is the kind of action that goes straight to the heart if his political expediency and selfish opportunism as with his refusal to divest himself of his holdings as a conflict of interest as he exploits his position to enhance his wealth further, while betraying those who voted for him on the most critical issues.

He doesn't care how he uses people to get what he wants and never will. Unconscionable! That's the only label that fits him 100%.

This past election left Americans with the worst choices since at least 1900. One badly damaged Democrat too beholden to the Liberal wing of the party, and one sick completely unscrupulous oportunist backed by an international threat, Russia.

Cheers

Watching liberals from the media, the entertainment industry, the sports world, Silicon Valley and academia go into nuclear meltdown mode over the election of Donald Trump makes me wish that I had voted for him. :D

It also reminds me of this quote by Voltaire:

I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: 'O Lord make my enemies ridiculous.' And God granted it.

J'ai toujours fait une prière à Dieu, qui est fort courte ; la voici : Mon Dieu, rendez nos ennemis bien ridicules ! Dieu m'a exaucé.

I wouldn't go that far, but it's like watching your team beat a hated rival in a big game.

Tu as absolument raison mon cher Castor. Monsieur Trump n'a aucune valeur conservatrice.

Quelle histoire!!!

Did I miss something? Isn't the stock market going up since Trump won the election. That's good, no?

Ca n'a rien a voir avec Monsieur Trump. Barak Obama est encore President des E-U et ces ses politiques fiscales qui regnent encore. Il a fait tout un boulot depuis qu'il est devenu President des E-U il y a 8 ans.
