TODAY MARK CARNEY should be elected as the new leader of the LIBERAL PARTY and de facto becomes our PRIME MINISTER......in the short term IT SHOULD HELP in the tariffs/discussions.....cause the DUM KING hates TRUDEAU soooo much....
BUT most likely it will not change anything.....never easy to negotiate with a MOB.....lollll.

Carney appears to be a very intelligent and qualified leader especially in navigating the economic mess created by trump who is determined to harm allies and help foes.

CARNEY is not the ''classic'' politician....an impressive / unique CV.....we will see about his leadership.....politic as you know is a very very special/strange universe...BUT in the actual economic/ chaos i really believe he is the one to deal with the EMPEROR...
In his career he went through an economic crisis here in CANADA and later through the BREXIT .......so he understands well the economic issues....
Will he b elected/ next elections????......not sure yet.....big big challenge for him.....BUT perso i really hope he will......my 2 cents.

^^^^^ It is interesting to note when Canada imposed tariffs in October on Chinese made electric cars and steel and aluminum products everyone was silent. In fact some were for it. Btw this will create higher prices for Canadians. Competition drives innovation and gets the best product at the best price. As a result China will be imposing tariffs on March 20, 100% on Canadian rapeseed oil, oil cakes and peas, and an additional 25% tariffs on pork and aquatic products.

CARNEY just elected with 86%/votes as LEADER of the LIBERAL party......no surprise.....he was the big favo.....will become officially PM in the next coming days.....and elections will b held in the next weeks.....

i guess the difference is that we have a free trade agreemennt with the US and Mexico (signed by the orange king himself), and now trump is using an illegal work around to impose tariffs (fentanyl). We did not have a free trade agreement with China. So that comparison is apples and oranges, or...lol apples and trumps
