Liberals like to distort facts to push their ideology like you just did here. Here are facts. Switzerland has the third most gun ownership in the world after USA and Yemen. Switzerland has about 45.7 guns per 100 residents yet there has not been a mass shooting in 21 years. Fourth place goes to Finland, with 45.3 guns per 100 residents yet it has a very low crime rate.
Right to keep and bear arms - Wikipedia

In Switzerland, people have the right to bear arms under article 3 under the 1997 weapons act. And there has been no mass shooting there since 21 years.
And this info is from a leftist media source. Having said that, I said it before and will say it again there is no direct correlation between guns and higher crimes. Generally the main culprit of crimes is poverty. About the USA, something else is at play and it is not about guns. A gun like an automobile is a tool. Liberal gun laws just prevent law abiding citizens to defend themselves, and also prevent people living in the north (usually Natives) in arctic conditions to be able to hunt for food (there is not much vegetation or grocery stores like in the big cities). The only common sense gun law is the right to bear arms. Every human being has the right to defend themselves, that is a human right. Every human being has the right to hunt for food. There are no ifs or buts.
Finland has a population of 5.5 million with 1.5 million guns mostly hunting rifles and shotguns. Switzerland has a population of 8.5 million with 2 million guns and the percentage of gun ownership is dropping. The US has a population of 330 million with 400 million guns. Both Finland and Switzerland have historical gun cultures - in Finland because of their hunting culture and in Switzerland because of their history of armed neutrality. Both countries have strict rules for who gets a gun and firearm training is taken seriously
