What music do you love?

Was listening to channel 6 on Sirius- the 60s channel- when on came this song which is particularly appropriate on this board and for many hobbyists. Not making any judgments here because I like younger women myself (so long as they are legal), but the song is about someone who is borderline. The opening line says it all- "Young Girl, get out of my mind.......my love for you is way out of line!!!!!!!!"

The only mention in this thread of Elvis Presley, after 3,390 posts, was by Lily-Rose. It's shocking and appalling to me that she would be the only one who appreciates the KING OF ROCK AND ROLL, so to remedy this travesty, I will post what I believe to be both Elvis's most underrated song, and his best song, which were both released later in his career. This one is from 1970 and I find it to be a very underrated and underplayed song by Elvis, although it's in regular rotation on Sirius Radio's Elvis Channel, which I have been playing a lot lately for my father at his request when we travel in my car. It's really a beautiful song, and reminds me of a buddy of mine who lives in the State of Kentucky:

Great song but I prefer his 50s hits, especially Too Much, A Big Hunk O´Love, Jailhouse Rock, Hound Dog and my fave, A Fool Such As I.
Yes Elvis Radio on SIRIUS is pretty good.
I have the 68 Comeback Special on DVD. If I Can Dream is an amazing song featuring one of his greatest vocal performances.
The King was actually my introduction to rock music when I was a kid even though he was from an earlier generation. My uncle left a box of Elvis LPs at our house and I really got into them. Guess I was about 8 or so. My fave was Greatest Hits Vol. 2, the one where he is wearing the iconic gold suit. For some reason lots of my fave songs are on there. He seemed to have put out his best stuff when he was in the army!

This is one of the many classic performances featured in the film The Kids Are Alright. I actually saw it with my buddies at the old Seville Theater. Anyone remember that place? Haha!

This song is a masterpiece, I haven't listened to it for a long time, because it lasts 13:22 minutes. An excellent mix of blues, jazz and soft rock.

Recorded for the Revolver album, but pulled to be the backside of the "Paperback Writer" single. Overlooked at the time, but now is considered a classic by many(appears on the Rolling Stone's 500 greatest songs of all time list). May be the first great psychedelic rock song that features amazing playing by Ringo, Paul & George as backup and John's impeccable vocals.

Magnificent song, one of McCartney's most beautiful, but also one of the saddest in the Beatles' repertoire. The lyrics tell us the story of a young man who gets dumped by his girlfriend.

For me the Paperback Writer/Rain 45 from 1966 is the best and most guitar-heavy single the Beatles ever put out ( both A & B sides considered).

In 2014, I went to The Beatles in Montreal exhibit at the Pointe-A-Calliere. There were many cool exhibits there like John's Rolls-Royce

But what I loved the best was the full video of their famous last concert on the roof of their business office. I stayed and watched it twice because I had never seen it before. One of my very favorite John songs -Don't Let Me Down.

Another underrated song.

First song where Harrison plays the sitar, which caused quite a bit of trouble when recording the song. It's credited with Lennon / McCartney, although it was primarily Lennon who composed it.
