You say he forced him. There is absolutely no proof of that. The balance of your post gets even more political when I was simply pointing out some good news for a change. I wish the anti Trump crew would just stick to the correct section under politics so they can slap each others backs about all the horrors the president has done in the past as well as the future.

The proof is painfully obvious for those who are not pretending to be naive. No credible scientist (let alone one as distinguished as Dr. Fauci) would peddle the results of a Non peer-reviewed study publicly.

Peer review is the critical cornerstone of ensuring the integrity of scientific literature - By subjecting the study to the scrutiny of other experts in the same field, it filters out flawed studies. Any credible scientist would have simply waited a few more days for peer review before making a public annoucement. Clearly Trump wanted ‘Good News’ to offset that terrifyingly bad 1st Qtr economic result announcement on Wed.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I made a lot of money from my stock investments b/c of Trump’s election & his pro-stock market policies. But now the situation has changed drastically esp. w/ Covid-19; Trump’s short term focus on winning at all cost & refusal to be guided by scientific evidence are now pushing us all into an abyss.

I’m a realist, not a Trump cultist so I do know the difference between ‘Good News’ versus Trump’s political propaganda.

I have no evidence, but knowing Trump, I would have no surprise to believe this claim.

Everyone is afraid of him, because he is a man without any judgment (proof, the history of the disinfectant, and the introduction of a UV lamp in the body to kill the coronavirus). His only argument is economics, it was the only thing to do. I watched the press conference when Dr. Fauci announced the news. Trump asked a question, and Fauci told the President that it was a good question. What a beautiful staging !!

When I think back to a toy that my children had when they were young, you know, the clown who comes out of the box you don't know when, and that scared everyone. Trump is exactly the same.

That’s a huge difference from what you are now trying to mislead everyone with which is claiming that I wrote that Dr. Fauci was "forced" into to mentioning something positive about Remdesivir.

It is the suspicious timing that I was highlighting and I have already laid out my case clearly which is:
1. Credible scientists will not publicly promote a drug study that has not been verified via peer review.
2. Dr. Fauci is a highly credible & respected scientist.
3. Dr. Fauci could have simply waited a few more days for the positive study to be peer reviewed.
4. Trump is well-known for arranging to pump up the stock market especially on days when there is terrible news.
5. If Dr. Fauci wasn’t forced by Trump, why would the most respected scientist in the entire government violate scientific ethics and protocol?

Also look at the end results: On Wed, US released data that the economy shrank 4.8% in the 1st Qtr but yet US stock market indices went up 2 to 3+% b/c of Fauci’s premature annoucement on Remdesivir.

I posted some potential good news about coronavirus and you decided to negate it by throwing your opinions and politics into this. So let's be clear about how this got started by you.

As far as misleading anyone, I was the one who posted something good about a potential drug for coronavirus that was mentioned in a press conference (fact), you decided to inject your opinion by stating it was forced (opinion).

Regarding getting a pat on the head for being a Trump cultisits, that once again, is your opinion. I never said it was about Trump, you did.

It means that you have to take the time to think before you speak so as not to risk regretting what you are saying.

Unfortunately in the case of Trump, he always speaks without thinking and when his entourage finds that he has again said bullshit, his entourage explains to him that what he said makes no sense, and especially that it will be not good for his election campaign, so there he goes back.
How can we leave all the powers in the hands of Trump?
