...et pour ajouter à la tragédie.....MATTHEW GAUDREAU'S SPOUSE /MADELINE WAS PREGNANT......oui la vie peut-être très cruelle.....on a pas idée de toutes ses vies chavirées si soudainement......ça va prendre tout un courage et de l'accompagnement pour passer
au travers de cette souffrance inimaginable....et nous les fans de hockey l'on se sent bien impuissants face à pareille tragédie.....sinon que de garder un souvenir vivace de ce joueur spectaculaire......c'est quand même bien peu de choses dans ces tragiques
circonstances......my 2 cents en ces tristes moments.

I already posted above baby is expected in 4 months. She IS pregnant. The state of pregnancy doesn't become past tense until the baby is birthed.

Thats what my answer was implying. But I think @gaby also knew that, it’s just a matter of posting in a language that is not yours, it can result in these kind of odd statements.

The drunk driver complained that he's held in prison until next thursday.
He's as much an ass..le sober as he is drunk !
It's almost certainly not the first time that he drove drunk !
Give him the highest consequences for his crime !

I thought he was suggesting she lost the baby. I have not read that is the case but certainly she is under tremendous stress and trauma which cannot be good for a baby. The TMZ article said she is expecting in 4 months.

The suspect made a variety of statements to police that were detrimental to his interest (to say the very least) and they will not help him when he is sentenced.

Many years ago I defended a drunk driver in a civil lawsuit that was filed in the aftermath of a motor vehicle accident he caused. He rear ended a couple of women who were stopped at a stop sign. They were not killed, but were whiplashed and thrashed around their car a little bit. Police came to the scene and my client said and did a variety of things that were very detrimental to his interest. All of those statements and actions were recorded in the police report in detail. If I repeated them here, you guys would laugh. Making matters worse, he was also an attorney and should have known better. He knew it later on. Liquor loosens the inhibitions and the lips and causes people to say and do stupid things. When I met the client and went over the police report he knew it and was quite ashamed. He just wanted the civil suit to go away and we did make it go away eventually with a settlement.
