Great victory by ‘still’ the world’s best hockey nation last night! What a game, what a goal! By the way did anyone catch Tony Marinaro punk a Boston sports radio station this morning? Classic! Lol

In other news we learned this morning that forward Kyle Connor was a healthy scratch last night. He wasn’t ill or injured. He wanted to play but Matthew Tkachuk told coach Mike Sullivan that he felt good enough to play & there was no way he’d be kept of the lineup. Turns out he barely played a period & that he lied. It was very selfish on his part & Kyle Connor would have been a better choice. That’s what happens when coaches let players make the decisions. Anyways he’s always been a selfish person so i’m not surprised. By the way JT Miller stated he was furious at both Tkachuk brothers for opening their big mouths about the group chat they had prior to their game last week where they had planned to start the game with fights. He said they exaggerated the whole thing & it made all of them look ridiculous! Brad Marchand made fun of them in his post-game comments last night. Lol

By the way could anyone do a wellness check on our good friend EB? He’s been MIA since the end of last night’s game! EB, are you ok, buddy? Lol

Most of us felt the same way. My apologies to Jon Cooper & Binnington for questioning the decision to play him in every game & for not giving Aidan Hill a look. Binnington was absolutely great last night & stood on his head in overtime. The two sabes je made in ot one on Tkachuk & the other on Matthews were absolutely crazy & will haunt Tkachuk & Matthews for years! OMG! I would have given the first star of the game to Binnington imstead of Mcdavid who was having his worse game until Cooper put Marner on his line in the third. That’s when Mcdavid seemed to wake up & was determined to carry Canada on his back to win the championship! By the way MacKinnon was also absolutely amazing to watch & Cale Makar absolutely phenomenal!

4 Nations Final Most Bet On Hockey Event in History:
Bettors saw how seriously the players took these games and bet accordingly. 4 Nations Final Also Shattered ESPN ratings for any hockey game and was the most watched NHL sanctioned game in DECADES:
This kind of worked out better than Gary Bettman had hoped it would.

HE’S BACK HOCKEY FANS! Lol

Welcome back, EB. You’re correct. The 4 Nations was a tremendous success! Much bigger than anyone had anticipated! I wasn’t even sure i’d be watching it & i ended up watching every single game! They had a hard time selling tickets initially but by game time in the Canada/USA games everything was sold out! Of course the fact it was a USA-Canada final made it a great success. I doubt the interest would have been as good had it been USA-Sweden or Canada-Finland. Everyone imcolves with the tournamemt did a fantastic job & it’ll also help the World Championships since now every American player will want to go since they know it’ll help them get on the Olympic team next year when usually only a handful of players agree to go & half the team consists of non-NHL players.

According to the guys from Spittin’ Chicklets a big reason why Canada doesn’t have that problem (of getting players to go to the worlds) is that Hockey Canada does a fantastic job of taking care of their players & their wives first in getting them overseas & then taking care of them once they’re there. Whit & Biz were hoping that Hockey USA would start following suit in order to make attendance at the tournamemt more enjoyable & better experience for all concerned.
