Tough day in school for the young lad this morning.......

I have a funny feeling that Doc has a secret love for the Habs. Notice that the young lad sits and smiles, quite proudly, with his Habs

jersey. What I found amusing, is that, the group of children,on the right of him, are not wearing ANY jersey at all. So I googled the image and found an article

attached to the image above. I am surprised that Doc did not attach the article which he normally does. Anyway here it is :)

Article written by Alfred Snotgrass, Sports reporter for the Somewarine News paper.

The picture above was brought to my attention by a colleague of mine who found this image on the internet. I found this to be intriguing,

so I went on to research what went wrong with this picture. I found out that this picture was taken at Somewarine Preschool Elementary High School in

Somewarine, Ontario. I made an appointment with the principal Mr. James Whally.

Mr. Whally was glad to see me and was very cooperative. I asked him if this was a grade3 graduation photo. He told me, "No, this was a 'wear your

favourite hockey jersey' photo shoot. I, then, asked him why only child was wearing his Montreal Canadiens so proudly and all the other students

did not wear any jerseys at all. He leaned over and a very hushed tone, so as no one would hear us and said, " None of the other students

WANTED to wear their Toronto Maple Leafs Jerseys. " I asked him why and his reply was " They were ashamed to wear THE jersey because the

team has disappointed them too often. But I told him " They are all smiling ! He said that all the parents made a deal, in that, they did not have to wear the

jersey, on one condition, and that is, that they had to smile and not to look sad. They all agreed except for one. I ask which one. Well, it was little Billy, the little

fella in the back row, second from the right in the dark blue shirt. He told his parents that he was not going to wear the Maple Leafs jersey AND he was not

going to smile. When asked why, he said " I had high hopes last year and they lost the game against Boston after leading them by 3 goals in game#7

with 10 min. left in the 3rd period. And then this year, they fell apart with 15 games left in the season and did not make the playoffs. So that is why

I refuse to smile and wear my beloved Maple Leafs jersey.

Moral of the story 'Wake up Toronto Maple Leafs make these kids really happy and especially Billy.

What a great game of hockey ... non stop action . Kotarsky was great and getting in the zone. The habs have the best goaltender coach in Stephan Wait , transform a kid in a stopping puck machine . Deharnais Gallagher biggest hart in the team for the smallest player on the ice. We will break the wall of Lundqist . Bradon Prust showed what courage is and yes it should have been called but how many high stiking on Gally .

The coach Therrien : the rangers are the best team that we played in this playoff ...

It just took a good goalie, and then you realize that the teams are quite of the same level. Great reaction but a little bit too late IMO, I don't think that Kotarsky is able to repeat his performance. 4th game will be decisive as often...

My brother has declared that if the Rangers win the cup, his soon-to-be child (due 10/1) will be named after the Rangers goalie. So, if it's a boy, it will be Henrik. If it's a girl: Lundqvistia. Maybe I should be rooting for the Kings, too!

There are going to be a lot of little boys born in June in NYC who will be named Henrik if the Rangers win the Cup.

Lol yeap, and if the fathers want to convince their wife, they will just have to show them a picture of him, raising his european look and attitude... ;)

By the way, he reminds me a lot of another famous goalie : Gianluigi Buffon

Lol the funniest thing I read today !!!
The Canadian locomotive for excuses is the Mape Leaf . It's honorable to finish on the final 4 ... At least we made the series and beat the lightning in 4 without their best goalie (we lost in 6 with a rookie) and beat the bruins in 7 ...
What did accomplish the leafs ...... Rangers played a perfect game , a great lesson of hockey !
