First Mike Babcock, and then Kenny Holland. I see a day in the near future where both of these fine gentlemen will be plying their trade for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Please note that I am only responding to one of the three consecutive posts you made within a 10 minute time frame. Not that I care how often you post - please be my guest - but it seems ironic in view of your suggestion earlier today about putting a limit on posts.

Also ironic is the fact that you now refer to Mr. Holland and Doctor Babcock - quite rightly :thumb: - as "fine gentlemen", whereas in the past you have constantly mocked them (remember Big Boy Caprice?) and predicted that they would both be fired. Of course, that was back when you were posting league standings, predicting the Wings would not make the playoffs this season or the next five, and calling for great things from the Leafs.

Funny how things can change: not only in hockey, but also in real life.

BTW, did you see Pavel Datsyuk's winning goal in game 1? Wasn't it a thing of beauty? It had to be, to beat ex-Leaf property Tuukka Rask, one of the best goalies in the world, now playing for Presidents' Trophy winners the Boston Bruins. Rask also made a beauty of a save on Darren Helm.

I will never poke fun at someone who suffers from a mental illness such as OCD. We should help the sufferers instead of being 'amused' by them. Even here on this great board known as Merb. We should do our best to help a fellow brother (or sister) instead of just letting them be & sink further into their despair. As a famous man once said: "Love your neighbour as yourself."

You are not fooling anyone. You cannot argue his post, so you attack him in this fashion. You need help.

This is coming from a concerned member.

Money talks, brother. And money is one thing MLSE has plenty of! Mike Babcock is tired of living in North America's largest slum known as "Detroit" and will jump at the chance to make more money & live in one of North America's finest metropolis.

First Mike Babcock, and then Kenny Holland. I see a day in the near future where both of these fine gentlemen will be plying their trade for the Toronto Maple Leafs. These fine gentlemen deserve a break & even though i'm quite aware that life ain't always fair, they deserve a fair shake & be allowed to relocate away from the quicksand of America. May they get their wishes & be able to be employed in the great city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada......where they rightly belong.

Money does talk but in Babcock case, I really do not think so. He LOVES it in Detroit. Why go to Toronto, which i agree is a fine city, to coach a hopeless

franchise as the leafs. Why ?

That was a great left cross that sent Scott down!! Rang his bell.

I love a good hockey fight. However, i crave the day when actual weapons will be allowed on the ice & disputes will be allowed to be settled once and for all. Just like cowboys used to settle them man-on-man back in the day!

I heard she did. She may be back for tomorrow's game. I saw a picture of her singing the anthem and she reminded me of Philadelphia's Kate Smith back in the mid-70's.

She reminds me of someone also....... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Oh Yea, LOL

What the hell are you talking about? Tampa Bay had a very successful season despite missing the great Steven Stamkos for most of the season with a broken leg. Then, in the playoffs, they were without Ben Bishop and they lost to a very good Montreal Canadiens team - no shame at all.

At least Stevie Y's team made it to the playoffs, unlike that useless bunch of dirt from toronto.

The current hockey stories about TBay are centered on their playoff exit. The current hockey stories in hogtown are about the latest resurgence of the maple leaf garden sex scandals, and about Phil Kessel tweeting about what a great time he's having night fishing (not even GOLFING, like the rest of the woebegotten leafs). The Bolts exited with pride and character...unlike the gutless, talentless leafs...who exited with yet another epic collapse.

Yes, this one seemed inevitable along the playoff route, as has already happened 6 other times in this brief millennium alone. So it must be this time. Scrappy fast Montreal versus steady tough Boston. It should be a hum-dinger. But what has happened to our "real hockey fans"? One...two...three. I'm not the mod! I swear it.

Canadiens de Montreal has what is called in Europe : "the french flair" which is a mix of Genius, Inconstancy, Beautiful game and Naivety. The kind of team that can beat every teams 4-0 but can also be beaten 0-4 by any teams.

I know France and Québec very well and can say that this similarity between the Canadiens de Montreal and all the french national teams of every sports, is the only real similarity I find between France and Québec (except the language of course).

The actual NHL rules are done for tough teams like Boston, I just hope we will have fun anyway...

Did i mentioned to you how bad i hate Boston... Seriously look at this team...

Capitaine Charogne... Big Ugly dirty player, just has what we call in french "une face a fesser dans" , would go and hurt smaller better player, but will never fight the tough guy or when he does, only try to take them down right away with his size because he can't fight at all..

Milan Lushit , again extremely dirty, loves to slash players in the balls, again "une face a fesser dans" , really one of the player i hate the most.

Brad Marchand... no comment... everybody knows that guy...

Sadly there is a player i really like in Boston, Patrice Bergeron, and i would love to see him get out of that ugly team but oh well... he play for the ennemies so i guess he ain't better than them right? Qui se ressemble s'assemble...

In any case this playoff round is really good vs evil, the righteous vs the nasty ones, and i do hope the good side will prevail...

In any case i alnost puke when i saw Charogne hold the cup, i felt this prestigeous trophy was desacrated by that *?&$?% , thanks the Hawks it didn't happen twice, so this year its up to us to stop them, god i can't wait for Boston to go back where they belong and thats out of the playoffs like so many years they missed it in the late 2000s....

Go Canadiens Go, repell evil !!! :D

Peeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. Sour Grapes sure do last a long time. A perfect example of letting hate take over. :thumb:

THIS is what it feels like to stand on top of that coward PK's back after kicking les derrieres des Montreal Canadiens and winning the most beautiful CHAMPIONSHIP Cup in the world. Thanks for the memories. We're glad you enjoyed it so much too.

Go Bruins! :thumb:

Many, MANY Cheers,
