And doing a bang-up job of it I might add. :thumb:

Quite possibly about as difficult as educating him about baseball.

Thank you, good sir. I am well aware that you have the same difficult task in baseball that I have in hockey. We are likely BOTH good candidates for sainthood, given our patience with our pupil.

Not sure what's your obsession with bringing up Kessel all the time. You do remember that hockey is a team sport, do you?

No obsession, just the constant task of attempting to educate those hockey-challenged Koolaid drinkers who frequently refer to "the Stick" - with REMARKABLE inaccuracy -as "Phil the Thrill", as a "superstar", as a "perennial top 10 scorer", etc., etc. With such slow learners, the professor must constantly repeat the lesson...and the FACTS... in the very FAINT hope that it might one day finally sink in.

Zetterberg and Datysuk may be great players, but it's gonna take more than these two to get the Wings out of the funk they've been in lately.

Excellent observation, once again proving that you are the wisest of the three leaf fans. (Sorry for damning you with such VERY faint praise.)

Doc, bite your tounge! That was a meltdown of epic proportions, an Instant Classic for the Ages and made the end to a great day even better. Encore, Encore! (and i know we are gonna get it)

Fan-F'en-Tastic, Merci Lil c :thumb:......:

Wow! Am i the only person here who's noticing that our buddy JC is having a major meltdown???

Relax, buddy. Hockey is just a game in which whatever we say has zero to do with the team's outcome.

Don't ruin your mental health just because of an internet board.

The good doctor recommends that you take some time off & relax. Sure, it won't be as fun without you for a while, but at least we'll know that your absence will be for a good cause & you'll come back sane again.

I mean it, bro. :thumb:

Stop it, buddy. I was always told it's not a good thing to take advantage of the weak, and you're obviously taking advantage of our friend JC when he's currently at his lowest point. He's obviously in the manic phase of his current meltdown and we should let him be until he takes my advice and seeks some much needed medical:help:.

Wow. The one-sport fan making an appearance in a thread he knows nothing about. Hell just froze over!
I know nothing about hockey?? I know nothing about hockey?? Tell you what. The day I call Brian Burke a genius is the day I'll agree with you that I know nothing about hockey.

Incorrect. We'll know that Hell has frozen over when the leafs win the Cup...and I don't think the Devil will be needing any heating supplies for AT LEAST another several centuries into the future, considering what a woeful franchise hogtown has had for 46 YEARS.

You must be referring to the cowardly leaf collapse against the Bruins in game seven, but that was several months ago. You're a little late, but at least you have come to accept that it truly was an "EPIC" collapse. Good for you - it's the first step to recovery.

BTW, what exactly is a "tounge"? I can see that it rhymes with "lounge" and that it's something your very close friend likes to bite. Oops sorry. Please forgive me - I withdraw the question. I just realized it's obviously a PERSONAL issue for you and it's certainly not my intention to intervene in your private affairs. Sorry again.

Ok, prediction time again....so far i am 1-0 since i graduated from the Joe.T school of "wagering 101"........ time to make the teacher proud again so here goes....tonight in scummy ass Deadtroit City it is the lowly ottawa senaturds against the dead things and what a stink fest this has all the makings of. 2 suckie franchises from 2 suckie cities. Can i just say they both stink and leave it at that? No you say?? Ok, then i will say the "Turds" with the win over the "Geriatrics"

I am in a giving mood since the Holidays are close so here is what will be a very rare bonus pick. The Crosby Show invades Le Bell Centre tonight and will NOT lose to Les Scabitants!

There you go folks, bet the house and win or lose, just enjoy the coolest game on earth!

This kind of entertainment is truly priceless!
You really don't have to be a hockey fan to enjoy the punishment JC lays on these poor guys. Honestly, it's the only reason I stop in here.

Doc, bite your tounge! That was a meltdown of epic proportions,

Is it me or Iggy just overcame his fear of using the word 'EPIC' ?
Check this out :

CBC Sports article of May13th 2013 title was "The Toronto Maple Leafs suffered a collapse of epic proportions "

Yup ! exactly the same words !

The word 'meltdown' which our dear inebriated fellows here use all the time is (you would have guessed) all over the place when it comes to that event.
Along with 'anatomy of a choke' or 'Leaf's exit from the playoffs was just another 18-wheeler'...

Ok Hockey fans

Why is Chris Pronger on the official roster of the Flyers ?

His last game was November 2011

Best Regards
