Gentle usually only comes by when Les Scabitants have at least won a game or 2 in a row, just like gSg and ballysdays, hmmm what gives? Bandwagon is as Bandwagon do ....

Doc, do you see the dead things getting 3 regulation wins this week? Should be easy right?

stop your embarrassing 20/30's (20 posts all saying the same thing only worded differently in 30 minutes)

You've proven on repeated occasions that you know nothing about hockey.

You prove with every post you write that you know nothing about logic, grammar, or spelling.

You prove, whenever you attempt to be witty, that you have no originality, no creativity, and no sense of humor.

With the post I quoted, you have (again) confirmed all the above and you have also shown a lack of math knowledge. Please allow me to explain: I have been a member since 2005 (8 years) and have a little over 3000 posts. You have been a member since 2008 (5 years) and have well over 7000 posts. Gee whiz, take a wild guess as to which of us posts more often. Yet you make this factually inaccurate, completely ludicrous, and totally UNwitty remark. Helpful, friendly advice: Maybe instead of wasting your time writing illiterate, incorrect, boring posts, you should try studying some elementary books on grammar and mathematics. Oh, and while you're at it, pick a better team to root for: I could give you 29 suggestions.

Give him time to look up the definitions...after he's taken plenty of time to spell them correctly.

You have been a member since 2008 (5 years) and have well over 7000 posts.

With a huge percentage being insults in Fee-For-All threads, usually created by him...thus king of crap disturbers.

Maybe they could star in a new soap opera: The Young and the Worthless.

You meant: The Young, the Chicken-Hearted Stick Slashers and the Worthless.

Sincere congratulations to multi-year, multimillion dollar man Clarkson. He has burst out of his slump in a big way. Previously, he was on pace for zero goals in the season, but after this offensive outburst he is now on target to score an astonishing FOUR goals this year. Good work Dave!

As for Kessel, bravo to him also. Sure, he had only 1 point in his previous 7 games but HIS offensive outburst in this one game has totally made up for that.

Will Babcock, the most overrated coach in the NHL, survive the season???

Are you referring to Doctor Babcock (and no, sorry to disappoint you if you're having this read to you, ig, but THIS Doctor is not a cowboy like your very close personal friend Doc Holliday), the same DOCTOR Babcock who was rated best coach in the NHL in an NHL.com poll of experts a couple of months ago? If so, then yes he'll probably survive the season - he's not someone like the late and unlamented Ron Wilson!

After being Joe.T's apprenctice in the PBA (professional betters association) the last couple years, i am branching out on my own tonight. My first prediction is the detroit red wings will win at home tonight in regulation against the Carolina Hurricanes. The reason i came to this conclusion is because Semin is out for the 'Canes so easy peasy win for that team from detroit with the ugly uniforms and the overrated coach. 4-2 final.

Well, here's hoping that you, unlike poor Joe.T, don't lose your underwear.

Congratulations on your excellent prediction.

Then again - and please don't be offended, because I am very sincere in congratulating you on your first ever correct prediction - it's really NOT going out on a limb to predict a Red Wing victory.

I noticed that you did NOT make a prediction on the leafs game. Wait - let me check and see how the LEAFS did. Golly gee, they LOST - AT HOME. Tough luck on that one - I'm sure Jonathan "Tie Game" Bernier tried his very best and was just UNLUCKY that his save percentage was a hopeless .857, as he was outduelled by FORMER leaf "the Monster" in HIS game against the Canes. (Granted, "the Monster" didn't have a great percentage either, but at least the FORMER leaf's .889 vs. the Canes was better than the CURRENT leaf's hopeless .857 vs. the Preds.)

And, as you'd expect, the Invisible Man was truly invisible.

Captain Pylon? Known for his hard hits? ZERO hits tonight - maybe he was still shaking as he remembered the last time he played against John Scott.

Another night, another game. How'd Kessel and Clarkson do against Nashville? Aw gee, not so great - sorry I asked.

How'd that "dead thing team" do? Well, if you meant, in your usual illiterate fashion, the Detroit Red Wings: THEY won.

And I guess "that good team in TO" must have won also, right? After all, they were playing AT HOME against a not-so-great Nashville team. Let me check and make sure. Oh NO - that "good team" lost. Gee, EVERYTHING you were bragging about in the post I quoted has turned upside down! Who could have seen that coming (apart from anyone who actually KNOWS something about hockey)?

And Bernier was his usual brilliant's self between the posts.

As the old saying goes "That was then, this is now." TONIGHT, career backup Jonathan "Tie Game" Bernier played more like we'd all expect, with a horrible .857 save percentage, probably an accurate portrait of the way his stats rate to SINK as the season progresses. Since the woeful leafs get outshot 90% of the time, they'll ALWAYS be in trouble unless their two goalies play way above their skill levels (as they admittedly have done in several games in the early season).

Pavel Datsyuk had no points in Detroit's VICTORY tonight, but those ZERO points were just enough to keep him AHEAD of Phil "the Stick" Kessel in the scoring race, because Phil of course had ZERO points also. The difference is that Pav puts up numbers on a REGULAR basis, whereas Phil will shine for a game or sometimes two and then will disappear into the woodwork for MULTIPLE games at a stretch. Another difference of course is that Pav does a million other things while "the Stick" is just a one-trick pony (and even that lousy ONE trick often doesn't get done). Tonight for example Pav had a rare game with no points but he had FIVE takeaways (no surprise, given that he has already won the Selke three times in his great career).

Zetterberg? Oh, glad you asked - I almost forgot. Henk had THREE points, to move WAY ahead of the Stick in the scoring race. Henk is now right up near the top.
