Is it me or Iggy just overcame his fear of using the word 'EPIC' ?
Check this out :

CBC Sports article of May13th 2013 title was "The Toronto Maple Leafs suffered a collapse of epic proportions "

Yup ! exactly the same words !

The word 'meltdown' which our dear inebriated fellows here use all the time is (you would have guessed) all over the place when it comes to that event.
Along with 'anatomy of a choke' or 'Leaf's exit from the playoffs was just another 18-wheeler'...

Oh-oh, our little buddy 'Gentle' is back partying a bit too much once again. Can you someone please make some sense out of what he just posted?

Ok Hockey fans

Why is Chris Pronger on the official roster of the Flyers ?

His last game was November 2011

Best Regards

Smuler

Pronger is out due to a long-term injury. His contract is still up & running and he's yet to file any retirement papers. Same thing with Marc Savard.

The Crosby Show invades Le Bell Centre tonight and will NOT lose to Les Scabitants!

Anyone who knows the RESULT of this game can easily see that you have indeed learned Joe T's "secret" formula for predictions.

PS: Helpful hint: Buy a good lawnmower and snowblower, especially if you also use Joe T's bookie.

Oh, BTW, LEAFS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, unfortunately Reimer was in nets, rather than "Tie Game" Bernier, and Reimer again played WAY above his talent level, thereby saving yet another game for the leafs, who were hopelessly outplayed and outshot as usual.

Sadly, your hero Jimmy Howard has not been able to save as many games for the Wings yet this season, which is why - astonishingly - the leafs are now a whole 2 points ahead of the Wings (coincidentally, the 2 points that they picked up in their undeserved win - except for Reimer - tonight).

The only thing that saves the night from being a complete Monty Python skit is the fact that Kessel was AGAIN held scoreless, so Datsyuk and Zetterberg moved further ahead of him in the scoring race. In fact Henk is now tied for second in the league in scoring. (Wasn't Phil up there for about 17 seconds before he went back into hiding several games ago?) Still, I must give full marks to Carlyle for not being SO boneheaded as to use Phil in the shootout - at least RC is starting to realize that when the going gets tough Phil crawls inside his blanket and disappears - even if John Scott is NOT around.

Dead Things lose again!!!!!!

Yes, it's quite sad. The Red Wings now have almost as many regulation-time losses as the execrable maple leafs.

The leafs have lost EIGHT times in regulation time, the Wings seven. It is NOT something to be proud of when your team has only one less regulation loss than the worst franchise in all of professional sports.

What Detroit needs to do is to start winning some of its overtime games. GWG. Come back Alfie, come back Bert, come back Danny D!

Well, almost exactly the same: The CBC omitted the part about Doc biting his "tounge" but in fairness to the CBC that's really just a private matter between ig and the Good Doctor.

I am sure that Gentle will appreciate that I am relying here on Sports Illustrated for Kids. I don't want him to strain too much, and have him try to use big words he doesn't understand.

Unfortunately, Sports Illustrated for Kids is MUCH too difficult for your friend iggy, but there is some good news for the poor little fellow: Apparently they are planning to introduce a SIMPLIFIED version of Sports Illustrated for Kids, with even SHORTER words, lots of pictures, and all on video so that no reading is required, and iggy is their target audience. Best news of all: When they send him his introductory copy, they will enclose a free box of crayons and a coloring book FILLED with pictures of cowboys. Tell ig he's won the lottery!

Datsyuk out with concussion

JC's favorite hockey player is out with a concussion. He won't play in their next game against the Sabres. His future status is currently undetermined.

Sorry JC.
