... so much for the celebrated French offence, I don't think they came close to scoring, though Denmark seemed mostly intent on a draw and the French mostly did not want to lose. Like their Scandinavian brothers, Sweden and Iceland, they are are a defense-first outfit, tough, disciplined, well-organized.
Denmark's #10 was the most dangerous man on the pitch, Spurs' Christian Eriksen, and that's something France lacked, a playmaker, at least until Fekir came on ....
