He may not play and if he does he definitely will not be "OK." There is a 6-8 week recovery period on a high ankle sprain and you are supposed to give the ankle ice, elevation and rest for that period. He is only going to have 1 week, not 6-8. And also the whole World knows exactly where he is hurting. This is not like the sissified NHL where they say things like "lower body injury" so the NHL player does not get hit in the ankle.
