Why among SPs does the condom brand of choice seem to be Skyn?

What factors inform the choice of condom you use with your clients? Have you tried and have you liked or disliked the “non-standard” condom varieties (glow-in-the-dark, ribbed, spermicide, flavored, etc)?

Latex free, simple as that. Better for the kitty

Some condoms feel better than others but there’s probably some pleasure and safety/durability tradeoff at play. I remember reading a story from a while back about how the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation was funding research into harnessing cutting edge materials science/nanotech to create next gen, more-pleasurable-to-use condoms (e.g., ones that are self-lubricating, ultra thin but still durable, and more form-fitting). Not sure what came out of that (no pun intended).
It sucks because at Stella we are given average brands of condoms and I'm not sure that I can afford the more fancy brands all the time but maybe I should make a switch

What Lena said also clients have said the Skyn brand feels better but I rarely have them. Spermicide can be really drying and have a weird feeling .. the flavored ones I don't trust lol but I've tried them

Nobody enjoys using condoms even when it comes to bjs.. When I used to work at spas I only offered cbj for safety concerns (that's not the case anymore, don't worry guys!) and I absolutely hated it, it made me gag.
I've often wondered about this. I play it very safe in my indulgences and actually prefer a cbj. I've only had one SP complain about it but I can certainly see that it may be unpleasant for a woman. Are flavored condoms any better? It has become harder to find condoms without spermicide--but I assume that would taste better? Since it's not something I would ever broach with an SP before a meeting, I'd appreciate any advice here!

Unless I am mistaken, but most mainstream condoms do not have spermicide on them. It would be specified on the box. Do you mean lubricant? Flavoured condoms are better, and should mostly be used for oral play. The flavour goes away quickly, and the texture is the same as unflavored. What's unpleasant is always having to hold it tight so it doesn't go directly inside the throat when there's too much suction. Worst feeling. But I will use it and do my best if the client prefers a CBJ, of course!

Also, most providers will bring their own condoms, I always carry my favourite brands (which are not Skyn), different sizes, latex-free and flavoured ones too.

Thanks, Giselle. I'm sure you're right that I mean lubricant. And, sorry, do you mean hold the condom tight so that it doesn't come off, or hold the taste in your mouth?

I have found that most providers do come prepared--but not all! I once had a comical hour in Las Vegas with a provider as we looked all over the Mandalay Bay hotel for (what she called) "condiments."

Obviously I will do cbj if a client asks for it and it makes me happy that the person prefers being safe :) condoms don't usually have spermicide but they have lubricant really often, like Giselle said! Most of us have a wide variety of condoms, I have flavored ones

Thanks for responding, Luna! I remember buying flavored condoms many years ago: banana, grape, and mint. I'm guessing that condoms have caught up with the chic culinary times and now come in cilantro, quinoa, sun-dried tomato, and tamarind. And their sizes could follow the Starbucks approach, so pleasing to a man's ego: tall, grande, ginormous, and Rubirosa.

Avoid the sushi flavor, they’re never fresh!

No, I mean the tip condom literally slides with the suction into the throat, let's say the beginning of the throat, and activates a gag reflex. I'm not good at explaining this situation in English, I'm sorry. Basically, we have to use different techniques when using a condom so it can feel good for you, and so we can enjoy it as well!

Wow. Just wow. I’ve enjoyed cbj for many, many years and I never knew any of this. Now I can’t wait for my next cbj! I’ll be more mindful and considerate of her experience… and that will make it even more pleasurable for me!

It's not up to the client to "charm" the escort. It's the escort's job to charm the client.

How to stop overreacting and finally gain control over your emotions
Depends sometimes. Personally I need to be charmed into meeting someone for the first time, or else I won't even allow an appointment to be made.
I've not shyed away from saying, I refuse to see people I don't feel a connection with. If in the discussion process it is all business I assume the visit will be too, and I can't stand a business style feel for visits I agree to.
So yes, if someone want's to see me I have to be charmed into it or else I will refuse to see them.

Because latex, even if your not allergic to it, can cause us to have a negative reaction, and leaves behind a smell, or bodily reactions.
It is fine for people who have sex and use a condom once in a while, but for people who need to use multiple condoms a day, latex can have adverse reactions on our bodies.

Personally not a fan of skyn. They smell very weird to me. Not a fan of the latex smell either but if I have to pick, I prefer latex than the smell of skyn condoms.

I know I'm an outlier, they don't even smell to a lot of people but they smell to me and I hate them lol. I have a sensitive nose I guess!

Haven't tried glow in the dark haha. I tried the ribbed ones and dislike them. They don't add any fun to me and they actually feel somewhat irritating.

My favorite brand is probably kimono but they're not the ones I use at work because they're SO so thin.
