They all want money for being with you, end of assumptions.

Actually, even that assumption is not true. Some women are using SA as a dating website and state that they are looking for marriage or a relationship. Do they ultimately desire marriage to a richer man, yes. But that's not really wanting "money for being with you."

When I started on SA, I was getting many unsolicited messages from women in the Philippines. What they wanted was very different. They wanted to come to the United States. They wanted to make a connection who could make that happen. My profile at that time indicated I was an attorney so I may have unwittingly invited these messages. I think they wanted a sponsor or perhaps a sham marriage, or someone who could put one together so as to make that illegal immigration happen for them. Why do you think Trump got elected? Too many people using this kind of nonsense to get in to the USA.

I did one time respond to one of the unsolicited messages from one of the Philippine women. She was hot and I was curious as to what she would offer. She basically offered to do a porn video for me, live via FaceTime. When I protested that I was an in person kind of arrangement guy, her response, which I will never forget, was that "the internet brings people together and connects them." The first time I read the term hobby to describe this activity I thought it was so appropriate: something that I do to entertain myself in my free time.

It's hard to say if all men, or even most men have seen them, it's not really something I would mention to my friends. But there are those who openly mention, discuss it and hire together, so... I'm sure some haven't.

2- For me it's not a hobby, it's literally a sexual addiction -- same as how I flirt and go out to meet women. With escorts, though, I can essentially decide on the activity and the escort decides on the price. It's less fun than chasing, going out, having one night stands or hook ups through dating and all, but I like explaining what I'm into and getting that rather than romantically, organically building up to it.

I'd simply say I can be more honest with escorts because the fear of rejection isn't as important, it's essentially a business deal that is either accepted by both parties, or null and void. With seduction and all that, it's significantly more time consuming to "open up". For me, at least. Some people are probably much more straightforward, but my interests are far more kinky overall, but I still prefer seduction vs. the BDSM crew.

3- Since I don't talk about this to anyone, it's nice to see people who understand a part of my world that will probably stay forever hidden to my family and friends, etc... It's funny, I joined here long after having experience in the matter, and I've of course fallen for every trick in the book and met all kinds of characters.

1.Novelty first i would said, i don't think humans are supposed to be monogamous. Probably the whole "things i don't do at home" part, so some kinky stuff, BDSM mostly. Exploring new stuff too, some of my best experiences were with transexuals for example, threesome etc. If i were to introspect i would probably say there are more intimate reasons but that's something i would share in a session not on a forum.
2.It's not a hobby, collecting stamps is a hobby. There are many different reasons to use the term, i would guess. i am at peace with what i do and don't feel the need to hide behind another word. I also dislike acronyms but that's another topic entirely

1. Let's see. I went to massage parlors during the 2007 recession. Was intrigued at first then it became regularly for like 2 years. I then stopped for many years. Once I turned 30, wanted to treat myself and explore further so went to see a SP through the Indy companion website. Couple years later I stopped only to go back to a MP exclusively (through Indy). And now, back to seeing SPs

2. I don't consider this a hobby. Don't like the word. I see it as companionship. Spending some time with someone and sharing an activity that I wouldn't be able in my personal life. Also, this kind of fits my vibe as in I have a hard time planning something with friends and seeing it through cause I don't feel like going meanwhile with SP, I can plan a whole evening weeks or months in advance and will be happy to go lol

3. Back in my MP days, it was to read and share and attend some events. Met some interesting folks and SPs that I later saw. A lot of them did retire so yeah.
