I don't like to criticize how other sex workers are doing their job, and this is a very competitive industry.. But in my opinion, SW'rs who ditch their clients when they are seeing others are being emotionally reactive and are punishing themselves.

No but that’s definitely not because she charges less, she charges double what I charge. I think some clients like drama, maybe they don’t have enough of that in their personal life
I agree. That's kinda what I was hinting at earlier when I say that competition between girls is a reality but it puts all the power in the hands of the clients. It's not the majority, but some clients seem to love creating drama between girls and love to make us feel bad. In my opinion, some clients figured out that the differences in rates between colleagues create friction, and I think they brag about hiring providers who charge a lot more on purpose, for their own benefit. Maybe he thought you would give him more if he says that. When clients pull stuff like this or start gossiping about colleagues it makes me not want to see them anymore. It's weird, insensitive and manipulative.
Think of it this way. If you hired an artist and paid them 300$ for a painting you commissioned, would you volunteer the information that you've paid another artist they know 1000$ for a piece of the same format? If I had the money to pay 1000$ for an art piece, it means I can afford tipping the one who charges lower or giving them more work, and not bragging about paying more.
(thankfully, it's not the vast majority)

(he offered that information, I didn't ask or check) I just said ''I can't convince you''

Yes, exactly. He definitely thought I was going to do something to impress him, or that he was going to make me feel inadequate. I just didn't care, because I don't want to keep seeing a client like this. He never booked again. Manipulators aren't worth entertaining.
Just to make it clear in case someone doesn't understand. what bothers me isn't that he saw other providers, it's that he gossiped about multiple providers in malicious ways, then he tried to pit some of us against each other by pretending he was going to book an entire weekend at his cabin (which is probably false) and mentioned that the others have higher rates than i do to make me feel bad or manipulate me into offering something more, who knows what. I know many of my regulars and repeat clients see colleagues of mine, and i'm totally ok with it
In fact it's happened before that clients told me they were considering booking @Julia Sky and @LC18 and some others who don't advertise here, and I encouraged them to do it

But yea tbh it took me a while to figure out the right words to explain my opinion on this, but it applies to more than just racism: when someone is used to being discriminated against and mistreated because of a specific trait, it's natural to spot certain power dynamics and associate disrespectful behavior with discrimination even if derogatory language isn't used, particularly when you notice that other people get treated better. Does this make any sense?
I don't think a dinner date means getting better treated necessarily, but I feel like in general, if a man takes you on a dinner date, it means he feels proud to be seen with you in public and thinks of you as someone he could have intelligent conversations with over a nice meal and a glass of wine, he sees you as mature and sophisticated and or worth spoiling. A dinner date is a way to spoil a provider, most of us get excited when we get that type of bookings because they are special occasions. It's not that difficult to understand... If I found out a client who had initially booked me for 1h incall actually took someone out who charges way more on a 4 hour dinner date, I wouldn't be feeling very good about myself. I'd be asking myself what I did wrong and why he perceives us differently.
There's no point in debating endlessly about if there was a malicious intent behind the man consciously grabbing his phone in his hand, taking a screenshot of the conversation, cropping it and then sending it to the provider who advertises dinner dates once in a while and asked him for a deposit (which he refused to provide)....

Honest question, aren't black SP rarer and by consequence more exotic? Usually, the rarer the offer on the market, the more expensive it is?
Personnally, when I had a good session with a provider and it is near a meal time, I offer the person if they want to go grab a bite. Probably not the same as a diner date, but I often get a positive answer. I find it fun to share a meal and talk with them. Get to know them a bit more.
As for telling one provider that I am willing to pay more for the service of another provider seems counter intuitive. It is like going to the dealer and saying: "I bought my car acros the street. They charged me more for it and was happy to pay it." In the long run, it might just make everyone increase their prices.
Is it the strike, of the F1, or the beautiful weather at last... But it's hard to know, every week looks different for me.
Every week is different for me. Last week was crazy busy, this week has been slower. Hopefully this weekend will makeup for it, fingers crossed!
I think the F1 is way more likely to be affecting my business than the strike.. or maybe it's a mix of both.
