Budget, what SP budget?
I'd rather not add it all up. You can easily blow an obscene amount on this hobby. I even heard crazy stories like some dude who is debt $400,000 just on hobbying alone (this is true by the way). That is f'king crazy!!! If you are taking money off credit lines or credit cards to get laid with SPs, you are really in waaaay over your head.
Some food for thought: Each encounter can set you back a minimum of $220 to $250 (1 hour encounter with room). If you see SPs twice a month, which is not excessive, you'll easily blow $5,000 a year. Depending on your income and marginal tax rate, that could be a significant chunk of money that you could have used to pay a vacation or to put away for retirement savings.
Bottom line: Once you blow money on SPs or MPs, you'll never see it again. If you act on impulse, it is the same as a woman going to a shopping spree with a credit card that has a high limit. Try not to focus just on the two or three hundred you're blowing today but the total projected cost over a whole year.

Your budget should reflect at what point you are in your lifestyle. How much you make and can afford.
It does not matter or should you take any considerations how much the lady or agency is making, as it's none of your business. You want the lady's service and you are more then happy to pay it.
I personally prefer 2 hours at the least, unless I'm drunk and I just call for an hour. (always happens after a GT)
My budget is 400 to 800 a month but considering I am single, it doesn't hurt me at all. I spend 300 a week on uselss things.
Anyways I try to limit to one 2 hour session a month but sometimes you just can't help feeling the need.

Living south of the border, more of my money goes into George and Dick's criminal endeavor in the middle east than to SPs in Montreal. Don't forget massages and incalls
Massages and incalls add up quickly because they are easy to find and easy to book. But spending $120 to $160 a pop adds up over the year so pace yourself accordingly.

I'd rather struggle to make money but sleep at night. We shouldn't be surprised that most young ladies do not save their money. That is part of the reason why agency owners are able to retain their services because they know they are hooked on the money. We tend to forget that they are 18, 19, 20, 21 years old and making a shit load of tax free cash. Life is beautiful, no care in the world until one day they realize they're in the hole and they can't do this job any longer.
But clients can also get into a financial hole, spending way more than they should on pussy. At the end of the day, you're flushing your money down the toilet. You might not admit it right away, but I suspect those that have been hobbying for a while would agree with me.

Unless you have a very large disposable income, you have to live within the confines of your income. If you budget yourself a certain amount of money per month, you could enjoy the hobby without too much strain on your wallet.
I visit an MP once a week, and once in a while I do endulge in an SP. It is better to stick to the tried and true rather than to be hopping around from place to place. In my own experience, I have hit as many as 4 bad experiences in a row. Now I do try new massage places once in a while, but I find going to regular places is the best bet.
