The issue with bars is its very crowded, and with alcohol flooring its really easy to forget about being carefull. Often bars are small venues as well so lots of peoples in a small place = ambiant particules. The thing is when it comes to bars im not even sure i would want to visit them even if i could right now. One of the places i enjoyed to go was Arcade MTL and the fun part about it was to hop from one arcade to another, playing and drinking at the same time. I don't see how this could be done in current context. In a more traditional bar, pool is another thing fun to do. But you can't play and drink in between shots if i get the current concept of when you forced to mask. Its really a cluster fuck. Of course if you just want to go to a bar to sit with a friend and drink at a table i supose its fine...
Personally i really dislike the mask as well like Cloud but like i said i would be willing to use it in very crowded areas like subway stations. But im so tired to have to put this on when entering the convenient store only to pick a pack of beer. I feel its so useless. To be honest im kinda surprised its been 2 years and we still rely on cloath and surgival mask. No one invented a proper respirator device that would filter the air or something like that. Is it too science fiction?lol
And to get back on the passeport, yes, minutemenx nailed it, a loyalty pledge to the gov. Do what they tell you, get another dose when they want you to, and be dependant on them. Maybe if they would ask for it during the very crowded christmas season and such, like lets say December 15 to January 15 or something, there could be some logic but if they keep this during the summer time, you know its nothing but a punitive device.
