Most of the Costa Rican SP are from Colombia or Nicaragua. $80-$100/hour is great, but a lot of non-English speakers and even more silicone. CV19 has killed the "talent pipeline" so you're left with table scraps.
Go directly to Colombia. It's the mecca if you like passionate brunettes.

Thanks. Heard a lot about Sosua in DR, but it seems like there is not much to do there. I didn't know many girls from Colombia were in CR. I've heard they go to Panama a lot. I was in Medellín in December 2019, it was great. Can't wait to go back. I'll try to got to Cali of Bogotá too next time. And people are ridiculously Nice in Colombia. My spanish is really not bad, especially for a 'gringo' lol.

Honestly CR and DR are not that good. It’s cheap, but I only go there because it’s legal, and not because it’s cheaper. English speaking girls are OKish, but it really depends on what are you after to be honest…
Yes, I thought it was cheap. From dhat I've seen the girls look good, do that shouldn't be a problem. Was curious about their attitude with clients, about safety and scams. Also if hotels are usually guest friendly. I can get by with my spanish.

A guy I know who just got back from Colombia (Medellin) told me he only spent $500 on women the entire week+ he was there. Language barrier didn't seem to matter because he speaks zero Spanish. That's an insane bargain, but I can't abide by even more silicone.

Thread starter, I've been going to Montreal from the US for a few years and I feel safer playing there far more than I do in my home city.

One of the things that made me abandon my home scene was an agency sting where police planted cameras in the incall apartment. I was extremely lucky to not have been caught up in that. Things appeared to have rebounded (especially if you have p411) but I'm still cautious. Meanwhile, with Montreal indies and reputable agencies like those that advertise here, I rarely have my Spider sense tingle. Use your northern head and you'll be fine.

Montreal just simply doesn’t do incall or outcall stings.

So that just isn’t an issue.
Not completely true. Recently they publicize a sting where they targeted guys looking specifically for minors. LE put explicit advertisements, recorded the guys asking specific details pointing to a request to meet minors. When the guys went to the motel room, a young police women dressed as a SP was there to collect the money and before action begins officers in uniforms get in the room and proceed to the arrest. So unless you are looking for minors, I agree, it isn't an issue.

I remember that too, but I didn’t think it was in Montreal. I thought it was in a rural area. But I may be wrong. The rest of Canada is not as safe as metro Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver. Even some suburbs of those cities are not as safe. That is why I say you have to learn the area in any country. In the U.S., the difference between Nevada and Arizona is night and day.

That all having been said, how fucking stupid do guys have to be to respond and continue communicating with someone who says she is under 18. That is the police on the other side. A real minor will lie and say she is 18 or over. Even outside the taboo subject of minors, it just wasn’t that difficult to see which ads were police stings in the U.S. But those ads would get like 300 responses. It was, and is, maddening.
Nah. Not true at all. Toronto is like Montreal. No active enforcement except for those that book minors, pimps, and human traffickers. The rest of the country is quiet similar. US is very different laws vary greatly from state to state. There is a big difference between the conservative states and liberal states.

Happened in Laval (suburb of Montréal), the city’s been making a concerted effort to clean up.

For those not knowing Laval, it is not a rural suburb. It is part of the Montreal Metropolitan Community. For a lot of Montreal residents it is closer to cross one of the several bridges to Laval than going downtown. You can even get there easily with the metro. It has its own police so the standards are different from Montreal.

In Canada, police are focused on sex trafficking more than prostitution. That means they get involved when minors are concerned and there have been attempts to 'rescue' migrant sw in Asian massage parlors (they didn't need or want rescue but that's police assumed). Nor sure how frequently they do this, or if at all after their failed attempt in BC a few years ago.

Aside from that, it's all been said. Police don't do stings here (exception for solicitation of minors). So what are they going to do? They can enter an incall or hotel room right while people are going at it doggy style, but how does that prove payment was exchanged?

On a side note, SPVM either doesn't care or just avoids acknowledging prostitution and has guidelines for trafficking only. They mention pimping, street gangs and street prostitution for citizens to complain about clients. I couldn't find any information about indoor sex work on their website although they seem to lump all prostitution with trafficking, they don't actually do anything about indoor sex work.

And this...

I've taken so many taxis with drivers who are not stupid (I kept getting the same drivers during curfew) and they honestly don't care.
