Asian wet markets are responsible for starting the vast majority of major world pandemics in the last 1000 years.
Wild animals from 5 different continents are kept in cages side by side and butcher side by side. This is not how natured meant it to be. Viruses are spread between different species and mutate and infect humans with novel corona viruses. This insults nature and maybe nature is taking revenge. The owners of these markets should be put in cages with vampire bats and left to rot.
On another note the World Health Organization has ruled that dogs don`t carry the coronavirus and thus should be let free from isolation.

We also had a new employee from the UK who was supposed to start in our Montreal office and his flight was yesterday @ 1pm. Our Security team found out that his gf was being tested for the virus. My firm called the airline alongside the NSC and got the plane to turn around and get all passengers quarantined.
the funny thing is, we are still shipping his work laptop to him, and we are still expecting him to work from quarantine LOL

We've since learned that Sophie Gregoire did test positive for COVID-19. Also today we've learned that the Brazilian President tested positive right after learning one of his ministers tested positive. Both had met and shook hands with Trump a few days ago. And just now the mayor of Miami tested positive.
Trump refuses to get tested. It seems he has something to hide or doesn't want to admit to himself that he may be positive and may be the one infecting everyone he comes into contact with. Remember: you don't have to show any symptoms in order to test positive for the virus. One interesting theory that i learned about today was that since he's been refusing to give a sample of DNA in regards to several rape accusastions against him he figures they might get his DNA if he allows to be tested for the coronavirus.
Dr. Guptka said yesterday that once massive testing is finally in place not to be surprised that the number of positive tests will skyrocket since many people testing positive won't show symptoms or barely have any and many of them will be shocked to find out that they're positive.
I am sure Trump got tested but does not want to send off anymore panic. Same for Trudean if he ever get tested positive I am pretty sure they will hide it. Just my thought.
Today a good buddy of mine texted me "i hope there will still be a few Euphoria girls around when i'll be in Mtl next month". The big problem with this particular virus is that even though many people who contracted it are now healthy again they were left with scars on their lungs and damage to their kidneys and other vital organs. And there is still no clue if you can get infected again & get sick from it again.
And you're correct: people who show barely any symptoms of this virus although they may be infected are a problem since they do not get tested and keep on uknowingly contaminating people they come into contact with.
And finally, many are hoping not to contract it until a vaccine comes out. But the likely earliest date for a vaccine is in 2021 and to be honest.....there is no guarantee that a vaccine will even happen. They still haven't even figured out a vaccine for the common cold and there's no gurantee of any vaccine for anything.
But the diet has been a starvation diet. You would eat the ass-end of a skunk if hungry enough. I've never been to a wet market over there but I do remember picking out my fish. I was told that they don't have proper refrigeration and that it was so you can see what you were actually buying. This is undoubtedly true about the west markets as well. Yes, this has to change but understand that it seems like many foods in China an other parts of the world were based on a dare but in fact, people would go hungry if not starve to death. This has to change. They need to do something about the wet markets and have soap as well as sinks in bathrooms and stop defecating on railroad tracks etc.

My mom would serve supper and if I didn't eat it my parents would say "They are starving in China." I was also told by my colleagues that they don't have enough refrigeration so that is one reason for the live animals. I know that they had big fish tanks at the restaurants. We pick our lobsters in the states so..... Also, they serve the entire fish. I was told that this was because people want to see that what they are eating because there is a tendency to sell you one kind of fish and substitute another. So the tanks are due to lack of refrigeration and so you can see the product. They serve the entire fish so you can see the product.
