I try to get my news these days from a few different sources. Your initial post was clearly meant as a negative regarding the president and how he will fire someone that he appointed. I pointed out that he didn’t appoint her and you sent a quote from the HHS. You have since updated your post (as Am I) to claim your original point was that the president would destroy her because she made him look bad. That’s fare, but not what you initially posted. If anything, she didn’t follow the chain of command, made a negative comment about a standing president and she’ll get what she has coming to her. You don’t shit all over the boss if you aren’t prepared to lose your job. The CNN article you posted was written wasn’t really the entire truth. Nor was your spin afterwards. A vaccine will not be discovered by a single country. That is where we are now as a planet. Just like 3M who needs many countries to produce. So the production of a vaccines will be given out to many countries who have the capacity to do so. Which will eventually make many company pocket a lot of money, but that is ok.

He delayed calling the Defense Protection Act to get supplies in place. He didn't place orders for ventilators or PPE until 2 weeks ago. He blames others, but between Jan 8 and mid March, he took 17 golf trips.

Relax. Trump's got his son-in-law Jared Kushner running the show as the pandemic's guru. After bringing peace to the middle east i'm sure Pee Wee Herman will save the country from having a million deaths from COVID-19 by the time 2021-22 comes about. This thing is likely to last at least another 18 months, likely more. It took nearly two years for the 1918 H1N1 flu to finally go away so hopefully it won't take this long this time around. Especially with Trump & Kushner at the head table right now & for months to come!
