Yea but can’t these super delegates say no to Biden and place in Cuomo?

Also, if trump wins 2nd term, don’t think he will try and figure out a way to run a third time! Lol, I can see it..

Lol! Love how you put in “more advanced” dementia, letting all know it’s already there. Think the American Society of Geriatricians will propose “The Biden Rule”?

Interesting article in today’s paper comparing the Hong Kong flu in the 60’s to the coronavirus:

Much the same like you sene5hos in that I don’t particularly like the POTUS
Still I will always have faith in the Americans , for me the worst case scenario would be if the Chinese came up with it , it’s not like they have shown that they can be trusted

Me too I still will always have faith in the Americans. In general I like the American people, it's their president that I really don't like.
Yes, an effective vaccine, whether by the Americans or the Chinese, for me it's ok. Trudeau played his cards well with these 2 nations, while Trump and the Chinese do not get along at all.

Honestly I rather be indebted to Donald Trump than make the CPC feel like it’s doing the world a big favour . If indeed they were the first to come up with a vaccine I personally wouldn’t trust it being safe and would probably pass

@sene5hos sorry for contradicting my original post by seeming choosy but that’s how I feel , anybody but the Chinese

The only thing I remember about 1969 was that that was the year I got married and missed out on going to Woodstock.
Hell the Honk Kong flu was in Honk Kong and I didn`t give it a second thought .

Gots to remember the audience here Cloudy ... unless it is running across the screen on a CNN or other fake news site banner ... only a couple words are read ... and lets not even get on the "comprehended" aspect

My bet is a vaccine will come out .. and will be 50% effective as the annual flu vaccine ... and unless things in Canada are different than U.S. ... the flu vaccine is about 50% effective since "a new strain" typically is cited for why the vaccine will not be 100% effective ...

Just think ... what if condoms were 50% effective, or even 25% ... who'll ladies forgo them altogether or would you forgo the experience?

Sadly, just read about the "Snowbird" pilot that died due to CCP Virus (aka China virus) in B.C ,... a shame .... pray for his family.

Lots of places are now hot in the world and has had no effect on the COVID-19. So far those monitoring the genetics of have not seen mutations in the area that effects the spikes that attach to body cells. So far the mutations should not effect potential vaccines like with the regular flu.

Everyone is cheering Moderna early stage success & it is good news but at the risk of sounding like a Grinch, even if everything goes perfectly which it rarely does; it will easily be over a year before a vaccine become available to enough people for herd immunity. My worry is that people won’t understand that and recklessly celebrate & spread the coronavirus. Unmitigated spread will only take a few months to crash the healthcare system & economy.

The war of words is worsening in the United States between Donald Trump and his predecessor Barack Obama, while the toll in the world now exceeds 315,000 dead.

Who is the most incompetent? Trump attacks Obama by saying that he was an incompetent president; it was his way of responding to Obama's remarks that criticized for his mismanagement of the crisis

Can someone explain me what the fuck is "Obamagate"? Trump has all the power in the world (from his own word) to attack anyone he wants. Why doesn't he? And why now?

If all goes well that means production in January. But not all will go well it's impossible. So most probably production in the spring with rollout over next summer. When this virus started scientist said no vaccine before 12-18 months. They were right. And it's the most positive scenario.

Cheers,

I'm hoping this good news advances the production as quickly as possible. Managing my expectations is not necessary, I would rather hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Too much of this glass half full mentality, I say the sky is blue you'll mention that a storm is coming. Let's think positive, this is good news!

Trump said "warp speed", and hopefully the Moderna findings can be refined rapidly and further tested into a vaccine that produces antibodies in all subjects, and it is swiftly moved to market.

On another note as a kid I had chicken pox, mumps, and measles, all viral infections, all of which are now almost completely neutralized by vaccines in the modern era. I would hope that "necessity is the mother of invention" and it comes sooner rather than later, just like World War II ended up leading to radar and atomic bombs.

China also has some vaccine candidates being worked on. Years ago they used to have a thriving medical tourism industry where organs were harvested from death row inmates. It seems they still may be doing it. Wonder if they will do covid-19 challenge trials on their prison population?

The Great Waloo,

That Laura Curran video is epic. She couldn't keep a straight face. Not sure if the native French speakers here understand how truly hysterical this is.
