Holding them accountable I agree with 100%. I just never thought calling SARS-CoV-2 “The China Virus” accomplished that. Just emboldens shit heads on the tube to scream and attack Asians.
The MSM called it “the Wuhan virus” early on..diseases have been named after the region where it was discovered for decades upon decades. Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, MERS, Lyme disease, Ebola, West Nile virus, Hong Kong flu, the list goes on and on.

It is happening now, it happens before the pandemic, calling the virus “China virus” doesn’t help. Would u call it the “Jew Virus”? “The gypsie Virus”

Of course there will be someone saying bullshit like “I don’t think Norwegians would care if we called it the Norwegian virus if it came from there or the Belgian virus”

Not same shit

Look behind you.
Viruses have been named after the place of origin for a long time, this is not a first.

As for China, does anyone really care if it hurts China's feelings with all the shit they disturb. I do understand that Biden loves the country but no need to back them.
China-Australia dispute: John Bolton says Beiing’s treatment of Australia “a sign of things to come” for the world (smh.com.au)
“The way China has treated Australia has been a clear effort to intimidate them and, by brute force, get them to back away,” Bolton said in reference to Australia’s calls for an inquiry into the origins of the coronavirus pandemic.
China was trying to separate Australia from its strategic ally the United States, just as it had attempted to do with Canada when it detained the two Michaels more than two years ago following the arrest of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou in Vancouver, Bolton said. Meng had been detained at the request of the United States.
“It was obviously intended to split Canada from the United States, to split Australia from the United States,” he said.
"This is the way China behaves now. How are they going to behave when they become more powerful? This is a sign of things to come."
China tries to bully countries into submission using its economic might (opindia.com)
After refusing to warn the world about the seriousness of the threat and using its influence in the World Health Organisation to keep countries lax in their attitudes, China has now decided to use its economic clout to threaten the world into submission. Being the manufacturing hub of the world, it has significant leverage over other countries and the regime is fully aware that it can cripple countries if it so desires. It is with this confidence that it threatened to cut off medical supplies to the USA due to Donald Trump calling the virus the ‘Wuhan Coronavirus’. If China were to do so, USA would have been gravely hit as the overwhelming majority of essential US Drug supplies comes from China. More than 95% of all antibiotics in the US is manufactured in China. Consequently, the US President stopped calling COVID-19 the Wuhan Coronavirus.

It was started in China so if you want to call it the Wuhan virus or the Chinese virus I don’t see an issue with it.
Yes I will say it is BS, instead of being so worried about being so fucking politically correct, how about acknowledging the fact that not only did these pricks start the virus, but they tried to hide it at first and while they locked down a whole province they allowed their citizens to travel internationally all over the world and caused millions of people to die and destroyed the worlds economy for going into the second year now.
Why the fuck you guys continually insist on denying this, oh wait you all manufactured your own Orange scapegoat to fill in for China.
This has got fuck all to do with racism, and obviously nothing to do with anyone of Asian origin who was not involved in the spread of this Chinese virus, this is a fact.

Last time I looked there is no country called Jewland or Gypsyland but then again I was never for being politically correct but more about holding a country liable for their fuck up which caused a pandemic and misery all over the world.

It came from China, that's a country. Comparing this to naming it after a religion is bush league.
Just because it comes from China doesn’t mean you need to call it the “China Virus”??

It’s not like Trump met with a bunch of scientists and dubbed it that, lol, that shit is racist, nothing else

The main reason Trump chose to call it the China Virus or Kung Flu was to deflect attention from his own horrible mismanagement of the pandemic in the USA. Racism was always one of his most potent methods. He figured if people blamed China they wouldn't blame him. The virus - and yes it DID come from China, no argument there - went all over the world but just about every country handled it better than the USA. Just compare Canada, which is right next door. Canada was also far from perfect but its infection and death rates are still far better than in the States because in Canada the government did at least not lie about things.

^^^^^ If Canada had the same popultion density as the US we would be in the same boat, example: If Sask had the population density of NY and NJ compimed we would be just as bad. Take Quebec for example, the virus center of Quebec with huge infection and death numbers.

The USA has roughly 10 times the population of Canada.

The USA has roughly 20 or more times the number of infections and deaths due to Covid.

NY's governor Cuomo has been on the news a lot the past few weeks, but not for good reasons. He may finally be getting what's coming to him for the mishandling of the coronavirus. Even his brother Chris Cuomo on CNN has been banned from covering him:
