Yes being mentally well and being a polite and nice customer is good for the provider, but there could be another positive side to the interaction. I mean the interaction itself can demand heavy cardio work and improving blood flow and cardio health would benefit the session itself.
But there's also a sense that it's like going for a jog with a more fit and younger trainer or friend. There must be some thought that crosses your mind that maybe getting into better shape would be a good idea. And maybe there's the unconscious pressure of just hanging around more healthy and fit people would rub off. Like if you hang around smokers, then you tend to be pressured to smoke. If you hang around people training for a marathon, then same goes even if no one is asking you to run 42km.
And for those who don't live in MTL or do this often, saving up money for this luxury experience would be the same sentiment as having this as a reward for some health milestone like going to the gym consistently for a few months or losing a 20 lbs and keeping it off. Maybe?
