They scored 1 goal in 3 games. Even the impact were not so mediocre last season!

What's worrisome is that among those three games they played Edmonton & the worse team in the league (Colorado) and didn't even score against those two games.

The habs have had such a hard time scoring that they're reminding me of my high school years!

The Leafs have three games in hand, if they were to win those three games they would be TWO POINTS behind the Mtl C. After the amazing start Mtl had versus the bad start the Leafs had, that tells you who has played the best since Nov 1.

True. And had the Leafs being able to pull a couple of wins against the habs in their head-to-head games, they'd be ahead of them in the standings.

By the way, they're starting to panic in Mtl. There was a secret meeting yesterday morning between Bergevin and some of his veterans incl. Carey Price, Shea Webber & Max Pacioretty. Montreal is also expected to be very active at the trade deadline. They may become active sooner. Among the players on their radar is Michal Handzus from Arizona. But Arizona wants Michael McCarron, a first-round pick and another pick for him. Montreal feels that it's too much. They'd also like Matt Duchesne, but the asking price for him is also way too high to their liking.

Habs finally won a game, this time against the lowly Arizona Coyotes, one of the worse teams in hockey right now. But the win wasn't due to Carey Price's heroics, since he was terrible and possibly had his worst game of the year. The habs scored five goals, but as Georges Laraque said a few minutes ago: "I doubt they would have been able to beat any other NHL team last night other than Arizona." He also alluded to the fact that Al Montoya has been better than Price over the past month or so and he has no doubt Montoya will play one of the two upcoming games this weekend. My guess is that he'll have the St-Louis game.

Yen aura pas de facile! (sauf ma deuxième voisine ;) ) They won or did Arizona loss? Both team had terrible play. That said, if Price can go back to his regular level of play, they will find ways to beat good team and win the cup. Do not get me wrong, I do feel a level of doubts and even sarcasm towards me when I say ca sent la coupe. The Habs will surprise you, you will see ;) Cheers,

Strange, i'm having a hard time finding habs fans who want to bet with me these days.......

I will bet with you.

But I have to say, I will accept the outcome of the bet only if the Habs win. If they loose I will not.

I learn to deal like that from a guy you may know ;)

Cheers,

Montreal Canadiens fire Michel Therrien; replace him with Claude Julien AGAIN!!!!

And who'll replace Julien one day when he gets fired?? Probably Alain Vigneault if he's available. Who'll replace Marc Bergevin as GM one day after he's fired?? Maybe Serge Savard, maybe Rejean Houle, maybe Pierre Gauthier, maybe Bob Gainey, maybe Andre Savard.......

Look behind you.
The Habs will be in the playoffs, brand new series and anyone can have a streak at the right time. Hoping the GEO also pull one off.

Bon bon bidonne toi encore sur les Habs. Got to say it's an easy thing to do recently ;)

But you will see, Julien will put the team right on track. They will score 4 goals per game and Price will allow only 1 maximum.

Ca sens la coupe! Its smelling the coupe!

Cheers,

Claude was the Bruins scapegoat for a general manager and ownership that continually misspends.

I think the MTL fandom and players will respond to his straightforward approach.

Claude Julien is Top 5 in NHL Coach!!

He's a good coach, not a great one. Seriously, i'm not even sure he's better than Michel Therrien, who accomplished magic by coaching these bunch of losers over the past 3-4 years. Barely any talent on that team and there's zero hope on the farm. The only real hope they have for the future currently plays in Windsor and i've barely heard anything about him all season long.

This is a team of few skilled players surrounded by a bunch of 4th-liners and many of them don't even belong in the NHL. For the past few years, they've realized on their star goaltender's miracles in order to win games. But now their star goalie is getting older and has become nothing but an average goalie. In goalie years he's actually older than he really is since he's been overused & suffered several serious injuries over the years. The types of injuries which will haunt him for the rest of his career.

Even Toe Blake & Scotty Bowman would have trouble winning with these bunch of clowns without their star goalie being able to regularly pull off miracles.

God, what a mess......... CLaude Julien seriously ???????

Yes, the Boston Bruins reject. Many were surprised they'd even allow him to coach their arch-rival. They must know something many people don't since this is very, very odd. Good coach, yes. Great coach, no. Overrated.
