This is usually the standard. You're also right about it being a mood killer to count it in front of the client, and most SPs know better not to (done in the bathroom instead, etc.).

I think this whole thread has gone way off line as I dont think anybody here thinks that a client should ever refuse to pay a service provider and anybody that doesn’t deserves to get what ever the law decides his punishment should be.
It is futile to argue whether it is sexual assault or theft or fraud or rape as most males associate rape as being violent and forced and not similar to sexual assault without violence or to sexual assault due to non payment but none of us know what a sex worker really feels at that moment so it is pointless to argue over it.
I will not argue with someone like Julia who I know and respect if she says for her it felt like and was sexual assault when it happened then I will leave it at that.
Perhaps the law will eventually catch up here also and recognize it as such like in Australia, at the end of the day pay the lady for services rendered and don’t be an asshole and it will keep you out of jail.

I agree that this thread is useless. It should be deleted.

I have been on MERB a long time and I have never heard of any MERB member skipping out on a girl without paying. No one has ever suggested that it is acceptable to do that.

So why are we being lectured to about something that everybody here already agrees is unacceptable.
