This debate is a matter of personal taste.
It will always be us who have to decide which girls to meet.
That said, it depends on the customers, depending on various factors including: our financial means, our age, our wild side, our past experience, our expectations of establishing a connection, etc ...
Like me, for example, who am not young, I didn't meet the same kind of girls as if I was 30 years old.

My favorite currently is an indy, but 9/10 of the indy that I have tried were the worst experience I've had: cold, rushed, missed appointment, bad service. I know that it is partly because I don't go for the high end ones but one curious downside of those high end indy is that they seem to have mostly the same body type, I guess this body type is more the one that people are proud to be with in a social context? Personally I prefer small spinners.

IMHO agency girls tend to be more reliable and if they have a website the pictures tend to be real. The exception is INDY companions where the women are awesome and have their own sites with their own pics and they are real. INDY girls advertising on 123, intime, humpchies etc tend to be unreliable as to service and availability. How many of us have booked, driven to meet and indy only to get zero response and end up pissed. Add to this the fact that bait and switch is rampant and the services advertised are not delivered. There are exceptions but this has been my experience over the years.
It really is fundamentally inaccurate to group together indies who advertise on 123, humpchies, and the like with indies who have their own professional websites with professionally shot portfolios - many of whom advertise on MERB. These two groups of indies are as different from eachother as either group is from agency girls.
It is interesting to me because when I think of Montreal indies, I dont even consider the "low end" indies on humpchies and similar sites. With so many great agencies and so many great indies who have their own websites the lower end indies dont even appear on my mental radar screen. I think it makes more sense to talk about three groups rather than two.

I agree with this. In any event users of those lower end websites know or reasonably should know of the much higher risk of scams and bait and switch. They assume and accept that risk. From the posts I have read on MERB, not only is that risk recognized, but some members here have beat their chest in glory when they have found lower priced hidden gems on those websites, and start threads that extoll the glory of their finds. These same chest-beaters have also been scammed many times, but they live for the thrill of cheap sex with a hidden gem, even if it means risking being robbed or even beaten and stabbed. If you read enough threads you will know who the chest beaters are. They are in it for the adventure; it's sort of like a fishing trip to them, maybe they don't catch anything and have bad weather, but when they land the big fish they feel like they hit the lottery, and they live for that moment. They are really a form of hunter or a hybrid between fisherman and hobbyist. But they are really "trolling" for the hidden gem and looking for the glory associated with that find. It's their big fish, their Moby Dick. Ahab wannabes- the thrill for them is the pursuit of the big fish.
