I was complaining about general rate increases (far in excess of general inflation). That's hardly rate shaming.
And every 5 weeks there’s a new thread about rate increases like people don’t have eyes to see it for themselves ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don’t see the point in complaining about rates other than acknowledging that they have substantially increased. And every 5 weeks there’s a new thread about rate increases like people don’t have eyes to see it for themselves ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
On terb, there’s a man that said he moved back with his mom so that he could spend more money on seeing sps ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The economy is a factor for sure, but I also think the mood of the country (or countries) isn’t as festive as it once was. It used to be party time in America and Canada. Maybe folks aren’t as sexual or festive? And just perhaps escort quality has regressed a bit, so that’s a factor. Even here in NNJ it doesn’t seem to be as active.
I think you're referring to optimism. People right now just aren't very optimistic about the economy, the world, the environment or their futures/prospects in general. It seems like every other day a major company is downsizing or another restaurant is closing down.
It's crazy to think that just a couple of years ago during the bitcoin/crypto/NFT bubble that everyone was super optimistic and they were spending like crazy on everything including escorts. Prices, during that time, for everything and anything from condos to G wagons didn't seem to matter.
I really hope this will be the case. That's why there was so much pushback when the agencies started raising their prices. IMHO once the price goes up there is no way they will ever come back down. Maybe they keep the prices the same and upcharge for Ubers, reservation fees or incall supplies. But sadly, I don't ever see the prices coming down.If times were tough, SP prices would fall.
More young SPs would enter the hobby.
Neither is occurring.

No. I'm hoping that prices come down, lets not be ridiculous.Hold on, you are hoping that times will be rough for people so that you can pay less to f***?
Eh ben…édifiant
Why would you want the prices to go down? I’m curiousNo. I'm hoping that prices come down, lets not be ridiculous.

But that is not the girl fault...I do a lot of travelling and I can't help but notice that hotel rates have skyrocketted since the pandemic in most markets. This does affect the cost of the hobby if you book a room also.
Most probably there will be new entrants to the market with cheaper prices instead of prices going down. Whenever there is a new opportunity or demand in the market, it usually gets filled by supply. However, it would be interesting to see if the quality would be the same.No. I'm hoping that prices come down, lets not be ridiculous.
They just get back.I recently heard that in Toronto, the agency is relatively quiet, leading many service providers from Toronto to come to Montreal for work. Usually, it’s the contrary.
This is ridiculous thinking and it is not a personal thing just basic human nature.so that you can pay less to f***
I completely agree with your viewpoint. I believe that the prices set by service providers are not inflated; they are quite standard. If prices were to drop, it would be disrespectful to the entire community of service providers. This is ridiculous thinking and it is not a personal thing just basic human nature.
Why would anybody want prices to go up. Do you want prices to go up whenever you buy something.
Wanting prices to go down is quite normal and it has nothing to do with wanting something bad for the SW community.
Hopefully if prices go down it will go down across the board on everything including housing, food, gas.
If however we are being realistic pricing will not go down on anything including SP.
If it does go down however it will probably not make anybodies life easier because it will mean that there is a recession and everybody will suffer including SP.
