Just a sad state of affairs for Montreal hobbyland these days. It used to be such a spinner paradise. The golden age of Chloé and Zoë and spinners left and right. Where you could get to your Plan C, and still leave with a goofy smile and an amazing time. Hell, even 5 years ago, when Sienna @ Euphoria first debuted, it was great. Now? Spinners are rare. Poor diet and an exodus of pretty faces to other channels have seemingly ravaged the supply here that used to be the norm. And rates that go up constantly! When I started, it was 140. To think, the quality of Eleganza for only 140! What a bargain. Then, it seemingly held at 180 and 200 for a while. The age of Goodgirls and Martin at xxxtase. Once it got to 220 a few years ago, it’s been a straight line up. Which is fine if the quality goes up, too, or even stays level. But, no. Inflation, even in hobbyland. It sucks. I recently came for a week, and only sessioned 3 times. That would’ve been unimaginable in the past. I’d have gotten in at least 6-8 sessions for so many days. 15-20 in my peak. But I had no regrets, because I was glad to not waste my cash. So many better options in the world these days rather than Montreal. 2-3 trips a year now to Montreal, and I’m not missing it. I’d rather enjoy the great restaurants. But even those, the prices have skyrocketed to the point where Europe seems a bargain.
@wolfie7 , you nailed it on the head! Thanks for posting this, I’ve been wanting to comment on this situation as well!!
I haven’t hobbied as long as you. But I’m a local, and up until 4-5 years ago, there were still many choices for agency SPs, good-looking ladies and offering great services. I’d practically hobby every week and I’d have a long TDL.
Nowadays, I don’t know where to start to complain. I’ll start with some agencies. As you mentioned elsewhere, 15-20 minute delays seem to be the norm. WTF! Why are we accepting this?!? Part of the problem is that some agencies don’t give the ladies a 15 min break between clients. So they’re expected to shower, clean up, get ready, etc between clients, but this cuts into the client’s time (and causes delays).
I heard some newer SPs are expected to see many clients (7-8) per day, with barely any breaks. So guess what happens to the quality of service?
If these SPs become popular and are good at what they do, they’ll have some regular clients and probably go Indy. If not, they might get fed up and quit. IMO, that’s the reason for the constant change of SPs on the roster (some leaving/quitting, new ones joining, etc). Some new SPs quit shortly after, when they realize it’s not for them.
So on a typical day with 6-7 SPs working, a couple of them might offer top service. And the rest are probably average. So guess what? The popular ones always fully booked, or so they say (maybe they’re fully booked even before they’re listed, or they cancelled their day, but still listed. Who knows? Lol). So they’ll propose another, less popular SP.
I’ve cut down hobbying quite a bit lately. Thankfully I have an ATF that I have good chemistry with that I see, and sometimes a couple of other regulars. So I’ll keep going that way, and possibly seeing some Indies going forward. Although the Indy rates are higher, it feels less rushed and more personal. With agencies, I sometimes feel like I’m just one of many on the assembly line. lol.
I guess there is enough demand and many clients are content with putting up with some of this crap, so SOME agencies couldn’t care less.
Anyway, it is what it is. It’s up to us to change it up if we’re not satisfied!
