Late April or Early May Better Time to Visit

Hello Everyone,

I'm so overdue for a return trip to lovely Montreal!

I was hoping to come next week but . . . .

I'm getting on the next plane to Montreal as soon as I'm able. But I thought I ask you all as to the better time to come to Montreal for about a week. Which time is better, late April or early May? Any insights would be appreciated. Any big events (like Formula One) coming up that would cause hotels and ladies to be booked up? I like some fresh talents. :lol::lol::lol:

I'm hoping to spend quality time with 8 to 10 different GFE ladies. In my past visits, I always had good success with Montreal Sex City :thumb:. I'm thinking about exploring some of the ladies at Martin XXXtase. :lol:

I saw this episode of No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain when he was in Montreal & someone on the show said that Montreal had two seasons -- winter and July. Now, I've been there in August and froze my ass off, at least after the sun went down. I think the best advice I can give to anyone going to Montreal is bring a coat! You never know.

If you are coming to hobby, it does not matter when you come. If you're into big events and want warm weather then June and July.

That's the angle that matters. I used to go every year in April and it could be rainy or nice and warm. Once you get past the real bad cold any day can be rainy or warm. April is just as good as any month and hotel prices and access to the ladies are usually better. If you want more cultural events try July and early August, otherwise any time from late April to early October is a good choice.

If the Grand Prix and the jazz festival are 'cultural' events in your book, yes, then come for that. But be warned: the city absolutely gets clogged up during those events - more traffic, more visitors, hotels are harder to book, room rates are higher, popular restaurants that are already hard to book become even more impossible to score a reservation with. Good luck with making a reservation at Pied du Cochon during the Grand Prix... And I'm sure, girls are working overtime and making bank during those events. Great business for suppliers, not so good for consumers.

I fell in love with Montreal before ever discovering hobbying here or MERB. To me, the 'culture' here is spending a lazy afternoon walking around Old Port, walking around the Plateau, browsing random little shops, taking coffee and beer breaks in the outdoor cafes when the weather is OK, sampling the great restaurants this city has to offer. Montreal is a perfect city to just chill out. It doesn't have the history of a Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam, London; and it's not as exciting and adrenaline-filled as a New York; or as party-focused as Miami and LA. Just quaint charm galore. That's my view of 'culture' in Montreal.

Oh, and you'll want more than a "little hobbying." If you really are coming from London, this will be heaven.

(BTW, any good hobbying to be had in London without losing my wallet? I'll be there in a few weeks.)

My idea of cultural events includes going to the opera, ballet, the famous circus, museums and great eats in Montreal. I've been to Montreal in the dead of winter -- January and February and sort of loved it but would like to experience during better weather. And I generally love the people in Montreal. The SP ladies (the native born and raised in Montreal and Quebec) are top rate -- for conversations and company :lol::nod: Now, I just have to find the time to come out for a leisure week.
