1) Your work computer is not working properly. So, you need to bring it back to IT at your workplace to have it service. Which you could use this excuse multiple times (depending on your job).

2) Your own personal computer is acting up. So, you need to go to Bestbuy Geek squad to have it looked at?

3) Every electronics that you have in your house, maybe you can have the Greek squad to look at it.

4) Your kid's, your wife's and maybe your parent's phone is not working properly? Hence, get it service?

1b) Well I got some good news, Johnson rod is fine! Had it thoroughly checked out....I just needed a bit of a tune up.
2a) Honey, you won't believe this! i was on my way to the store and the Johnson rod is acting up again...I think that first place is screwing me! I'm on my way to have it checked out at this new place, it got good reviews!
2b) Turns out that first place did know what they were doing. Johnson rod is okay, just needed a bit of a lube after all that bad weather we got.

If you really need to go out, and dont have the routine to do so, order something online (shoes, or clothes) with the wrong size. Receive the package, try the thing, and oh, it does not fit. You can either return it via mail (not your plan), or simply say it will be faster to just drop by the store to get an exchange or refund. Extra bonus point if the store is near or close by the MP or SP place you want to visit.

With CoVid most people are feeling cabin fever staying at home and quite a few of us are taking up physical activities (whether that be running or walking) to get out of the house. That's completely normal and healthy for both your mind and your body. Your wife might want to accompany you once in a while; and you can spend some time with her getting to know your neighborhood (or mount royal, or mont st-hilaire, or whatever) once in a while. Otherwise; you can indulge into some other forms of exercise and still burn calories.

If you regularly indulge it is likely your wife suspects. Most of us aren't that good at lying about it. If you go out on walks with her once in a while on your new 'hobby', it may takes some of the sting out and do some good on an intellectual relationship / companionship level.

I did my university degree with evening class. Took me 7 years.
7 years of missing a class now and then and enjoying the company of SP'S.
Now I'm in a triathlon club. Group training is presently suspended, but when its not: 2-3 group trainings per week, race events to participate, big events that requires to be gone all weekend, rides with friends, etc. You then have the excuse to be out, go do your sport and make a detour to see your favorite SP'S.
