Montreal geography question: Is it well-known that Griffintown is full of girl condos?

I saw this exchange about Griffintown, and wondered if it's common knowledge. I've seen a lot of agency girls there.

To think that this place used to be a shanty town, full of drunk irish and prostitutes.
