"This is That" is a great little CBC program. They do deadpan humour like nobody else. They recently did a piece on a businessman who wanted to use 65 water bombers to scoop up oil from the Alberta oil sands and drop it in offshore tankers. All without cracking a smile. They're great!

I have to agree, they are sort of like Quebec's answer to Abbott and Costello with the political satire. The story is extremely funny. The fact that Montreal City Council was bombarded with irate phone calls and email probably did not endear these men to the council admin. staff.

You know what's funny. The whole thing sounded so idiotic you had to wonder if someone was fool enough to actually propose this. I've heard stranger things from people who definitely were not acting.
