1) Do you mean which do I appreciate more... something I gave out for free or something I got paid for? If that is a question about sex... I don't think it would make a difference, but my P(h)OD would be less if at least I was being paid for it!

2) When I was younger (22-25-ish), I was a pretty big slut, so I had a great deal of partners before I got into this business, I was looking for the guy that was going to rock my world and had not come across him. I hazard to guess that the two sides (unpaid and paid) have come to about an equal number and I am not exaggerating here. I see about 5 or 6 clients a month, mostly the same guys, so over the first 5 years of working, the numbers have not really increased too much. In this year, now that I am in Montreal, I see 4 clients on a repeat basis and they are the only 4 I have met here.

2. Also keep in mind that your sense of reality might be scewered due to the number of clients you see outnumbering the number of people you date. If you dated as many people as clients you'd probably come across just as many competent lovers.

Clarification

I meant disgust and not sadness in my previous post. I still get sadness and decline of sexual desire every time after sex/orgasm even with the most desirable person. That's why I'm not a huge fan of men coming before me (some of you mentioned it here). Because after I orgasm my sexual enthusiasm drops and I'm no longer enjoying myself, especially if the man takes long time to come..

I think what Melanie meant is that men often treat sexual workers like goddesses. We are unattainable to you for free so you have to pay for our time and appreciate it more.. while with a girlfriend men tend to treat her more equally. That's why I always dated clients and never anyone else. Maybe one day I will meet a man outside of the strip-club who will also treat me like a goddess, but for now this is hard to believe in for me..
