how bad is it getting scabs fans?

in the last 4 games each team has played, Montreal has 2 points to the Leafs 4 points......meanwhile the Leafs goals against is getting better while the scabs is getting worse, scabs have given up 18 goals and Leafs 14 in same four games..... ouch

I'm sure that by the end of the season there will be a stretch of a few games during which the Leafs will have a better record than the Penguins. (e.g. Penguins lose 4 in a row and the Leafs get a point) I wonder if you will then hint that the Leafs are a better team than the Penguins even if the former is still in first place and TO is still vying for next year's first draft choices.

I agree with what you said in the other thread. The Leafs are not as bad as their record. I'd even bet that they will raise their average from one win per thirteen games. Look, already they are tied for 29th in the standings instead of having last place all to themselves.

Finally a somewhat sensible mtl fan :)

Thank you, but:
1 I'm not a mtl fan. I used to be many years ago when I found them entertaining to watch. Now, I rarely care who wins. I just want to see a well played game. The Det - Pitts Stanley Cup Final was the highlight of my armchair sports career.
2 I do like to see the Leafs lose, but only because I enjoy the excuses of the comically biased TO media. Of course, they are not as bad as their record. I would bet real money that they will raise the proportion of games they win from one in thirteen to one in ten and perhaps beyond.

Its the post game show on TQS with ex-Habs coach Jean Perron- used to be called 110% (four people yelling at each other at the same time) . There's also La zone and L'antichambre on TVA and RDS (or RC?)

So? How does this change the fact that the Leafs are a shitty team and have all but one win in 13 games?

I guess chirping about teams that are ahead of Toronto in the standings is a welcome distraction for Leaf fans – they don’t have to think about how much their lousy team sucks ass and blows chunks.

the puck just wouldnt go into the net, even tho for like the 5th game in a row they seriously outplayed their opponent,

actaully Komi played a good game tonight, that fluke goal was the only thing he did wrong

Do you have ADD? You keep recycling the same lame excuses. Speaking of excuses, let me refer you to this insightful post:

replace "The Leafs should be 12-0" with The Leafs should be 13-0

and replace "The Leafs have 1 win in 12 games" with The Leafs have 1 win in 13 games

Sincere congratulations to the Leafs on vaulting all the way up to 29th best team in the NHL after their stirring victory over the 30th place Canes.

Burke and Wilson are strutting like proud peacocks after this amazing ascent into the higher echelons of the league. Who would have guessed that these two geniuses could carry the Leafs all the way up into 29th place?

And, as an added bonus, the Leafs have doubled their season victories...all the way up to two...after only 14 games.

At this explosive rate of success, Toronto fans are already dreaming of a possible ten wins by the end of the season.

hey, it's the red wings resident bandwagon fan of merb..... :) how you been?

truth be told, the leafs in the last 6 games have 8 points, meanwhile the habs have 6 in the same 6 games, the Leafs are finally starting to play better, as it takes time with so many new faces, the same problem with the scabs but do you realise the leafs have as many regulation wins as the scabs do this season so far ....... good thing for OT and Shootouts, eh scabs fans? :p...... and yes mr hockey, i know ur not a scab fan, well, at least "outside" of the closet eh? :D

good thing for OT and Shootouts, eh scabs fans?

The Habs actually managed to WIN those games. Without that loser point awarded for OT/shootouts the Leafs would have 4 points.

Advice to Leafs fans, don't use the OT/shootout argument, it makes you look silly. ;)

u sure about that robert? seems to me the habs are the equivalent of only 3 points ahead of the leafs should we win the 2 games you have on us, and like i said last 6 games we actually have more points, and points are what counts eh???? leafs are getting better and the scabs are getting worse it seems, silly is as silly does bobby :D

Is it possible that the Leafs lose in shoutouts due to their sieve of a goaltender and ineptness of their forwards?

Of course, the Leafs' record is improving. How much worse can it get than winning one of thirteen?

Is a team which has now crawled into 29th place a sure thing to win its next two games?

truth be told, the leafs only two wins were against struggling and/or almost as bad teams

truth be told, loser consolation points make the leafs look better than they really are
