you are a funny lil man tho, when your team wins.,,... and a lil irrate when they dont, stop that, lifes to short bro, it's almost as fun seeing what you will say as the games themselves .....

Yeah, if that direction is towards the outhouse, then we know which way the Leafs are going - straight to the crapper! :D

actually if you watched the game , the leafs finally outplayed the other team(well they also did that to the scabs but?) , although the results were the same, kinda like the wings alot so far this year, just goes to show it means notihng......... long season and plenty of time to get things going, but i sure hope they get it going soon,...... maybe i will bring them luck next saturday night eh????
are you going to the game, or are you not in Montreal ??

Must admit that the Leafs did play one of their better games...but the bottom line is that they lost again.

I'm not going to the Halloween game - I don't like either team...although I have to admit that I dislike the Leafs and I have no animosity towards the habs (I just don't think they're very good). Have to give credit to the habs for the latest win though - a gutsy comeback against the Rangers and a big performance from Camilleri.

i like Cammy, and the rangers started like this last season to and them cooled off and i dont see them as a cup contender, nor the habs......

actaully Komi played a good game tonight, that fluke goal was the only thing he did wrong and well it happens in the heat of battle sometimes, at least he didnt shoot it in like O'byrne last year, and he was blocking shots all night and played very strong D........
Well Doc at least you were right about one thing!

isnt that the truth Tech..... did you go to the game?

Naw. I'm trying to get the loge for Halloween though. We usually get it when there's a Halloween game but seeing as it's against the Leafs this year, I'm not holding out much hope.

But it looks like we'll have it for Aussie Pink Floyd on Wednesday and I'm looking forward to it!

By the way guys...the Leafs don't have to plan out their route. I'm sure they already know the way to the golf course after all these years! :p

I give you the next captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs:

MICHAEL KOMISAREK

For at least the next 5 years, then Luke Schenn will step in & take over the role.

Perhaps the greatest of all your posts Doc. Komi as Captain - ha ha ha. As for Schenn, he proved in the Vancouver game that he's as good as Komi at getting his clock cleaned, but he hasn't yet proved that he's as good as Komi at taking selfish penalties, scoring on his own team, or singlehandedly costing games. Then again, Luke is young and can probably learn all these skills by watching Komi closely.

o my, he is real! he is human!...... nice to see you actually post a response to something besides posting jibberish ramblings! nice for a change gsg!!!

let me ask you this tho, would you ever drink labatts or does your loyalty to the scabs strictly forbid that and therefore you must drink molson because of ownership? :p

Considering how awful the Leafs are it's hard to believe that they won the Cup as recently as 42 years ago! How could any team get THIS bad in only 42 years?

This year's leaf team may not yet rank as the worst in NHL history, but it's heading in that direction!

Burke has said since day one and was hired for was to make Toronto better right away and into a Cup contender a few years from now.

Exactly what Cup will Toronto be contending for a few years from now? This one?

I prefer learning from teachers who know about their subject.

As for Saviour Phil, his career NHL stats are 126 points in 222 regular season games - and that's playing on a good team with the likes of Marc Savard et. al.

your getting a timeout young man for that lil sarcasm :D

as far as Kessel, it will take some time but he will be ok once he plays a couple weeks, he is alot quicker than i thought and his wrister is even faster

Kessel is certainly not bad - but he's also not a saviour. As part of a supporting cast he'd be fine, but as someone to lead a team out of the wilderness he won't be able to cut it.

Decent player, yes; superstar, no.

they certainly did, but the puck just wouldnt go into the net, even tho for like the 5th game in a row they seriously outplayed their opponent, at least they got a point, thats better than the scabs could muster :p

The Leafs look like a different team with Kessel in the lineup.
