I can understand your pain. I came up this past weekend and was trying to book someone for a couples get together. I had been in contact with a Devilish and Eleganza for about 2 weeks before going up. I do not get to do this often so I was being particular about the girls. When it came to all last week, and then Friday, neither one returned emails or phone calls. The only agency to return my call was Candy's. Unfortunately I was dissapointed, discouraged and we both decided to forgo the escort. We are not spending $500-$600 and being unsure about it. A couple of years back I had no problem booking a girl a week ahead via email and phone and then confirming when I checked in to my hotel. I think you are right about it being a providors market.
Now, after the weekend, we made the right decision. We let things happen naturally. We spent a lot of time at Cleo's and L'Axe. We found the girls much friendlier at L'Axe, much better dances for both me and my boyfriend. And by the end of the shift Saturday night, we had one of them coming back to the hotel to "relax". She did not ask for any $, it was more like a couple of drunk friends letting go. I have to go now but I will write more later under the L'Axe thread.

If you call at 11:00 p.m. for an appointment at midnight with her on a Friday night, then you are a dickhead who has not done his research.

Candy, the ride home had no traffic, but rain the whole way home, oh well! I really did appreciate that your agency returned my call/email. My success in the past was also with agencies owned by females. I can't help but wonder if it was a factor that I was a girl doing the booking.

You are right! I’ve called several times at around 9 or 10 and, every time, the girls were booked until the middle of the night! It is frustrating. I know that I should call earlier and “reserve” one for later or for the day after…but this is not how my schedule works! I rarely know in advance when I’ll be able to see a girl. Crazy professional life!

I’m happy that the business is going well for them…but I’m about to marry one of the girls in order to assure me some availability from her…!

After Marie-Eve, Caroline is the second most in-demand sp in Martin's lineup. Not a surprise because she's a sweet and truly gorgeous babe. It doesn't help that she works only 1 day per week. That's because she has another regular job. I saw her twice last year and was the first to review her on this board. I think it will be a challenge to schedule another repeat rendez-vous with her especially with the busy summer season approaching.

Plus, I predict the rates will inevitably go up as gas prices are soaring and the law of offer and demand is offsetting the balance at the client's disadvantage.

Weel I think we stick with web based agencies with beautiful pics, maybe we should try the old fashion way and book girls that have not made a name and reputation for themselves already and do not have their pics on the net, the good old way, but it's riskier of course...

No we shouldn't. Prices were constant during the Jazz Festival 2002-2005. I was in Montreal for the Jazz Festival all 4 years, and saw numerous SPs at their same rates. There was no increase.

No such thing happened during GP week either, to my recollection, because far more ladies are working and supply goes up with the demand. What happened in past years was a number of "unretirements." Chloe, and a number of other ladies came out of retirement just to work during that week.

The good agencies plan ahead and prepare, and have more girls and more drivers available. The competition is too fierce to permit deviations.

Hotels are a different story because the supply of housing is finite and cannot be increased.

You guys need to learn real world economics.

I am aware of those French agencies but I am only talking about the agencies that matter to the people who use this Board. None of those French agencies are on this Board, and virtually all of them are owned and operated by the same person. Also, you were previosuly talking about raising prices - not dropping them.

It is natural that girls from these agencies will be in high demand. There are atleast 50 agencies which never get mentioned. I wonder why! I am sure not all of them are B&S. So if some senior members can make a list of good agencies I feel we will not have this problem.

Hey chick, that's a consequence of what I was writing at the beginning of ths Thread. Pics, web based agencies, concentration, .. more and more hobbyists go for the same girls because they can market their own reputation and looks. Unfortunetaly that leaves less room for un marketed girls, most of which don't want their pics on the net.
